Any idea what kind if seeds? And do you plan to have them under cfl for the whole life if the plant? They're great for seedlings and not bad for veg, but from what I've seen on here they're not very good for flowering :/

Week 4 and I decided to do a swap.. she's out of the cupboard she was in (as she was the only girl out of 4 who is on flower) I put the veg lighting the cupboard and gave the gorilla bomb and the viparspectra the tent, figured she would benefit from the better circulation and reflective walls...

She's only half done :) still a lot of weight to go on her yet

Just saying.. although the QB is much better.. the cheap mars/meizhi/vipar WILL flower okay. They're not quite as useless as everyone makes out, they're just not the best out there. 1gpw cam be done with them

Call them all you like, there are better lights yes.. but vipars work and will get you some nice bud. I would advise to save up and get a QB or cob set up but if you really only have Like £50 to spend then vipar are a good option

Just getting to the point you can smell her when walking past the room! Gets pretty bad when you move her around, smells similar to sour diesel but a little more "skunky" if you get me, very earthy musky scent :)

It was just a thought! She's doing okay with just the vipar for now anyway

Like a said I know it's very easily beat, buts it's the best option for someone who just wants set up quickly and has no idea what all the watts/lumens/par/gpw/uMol means. It's a good grab and plug in light for beginners to find their feet with. I'll make my own judgement when this gorilla bomb...

Yea the cobs and qbs are definitely the way to go, I mean they're not ridiculously expensive, just saying the vipar it great for a start up if you're low on funds, the 1st harvest can pay for a new set up if you wish I'm thinking about keeping the vipar and seeing if I can find a cheapo led that...

Regardless how much of their claims are BS.. You can get one for £50 and it will yield you 100g (if you're a half decent grower) The newer/better leds just can't compete with that low price. They are better VALUE as they are more efficient but show me a light for £50 or under that will...
