I mean ideally you want to grow in the ice chest since its a lot bigger then the case Im assuming your gonna use. You are going to need a lot more tools I think if you modify the ice chest, and yeah it probablly will be more work. If you got the tools to modify the ice chest I would do that.

Got a picture of this ice chest or dimensions? I would use a PC case if you can, but if its a lot bigger.....

yeah if u get the lens, it will be great for heat, you can specifically control the heat of the lights to go straight out instead of all around your grow. great for temps

At most they are two bucks, they are cheap and very effective. I added them in my pc case and got way more lights then I prob should have had. It a little over a square foot I had almost 100 watts of light, haha, heat was fine though :)
