You could do that but you would need to wire them in series to reduce the volts to 12v. The positive wire is connected to the negative of the next fan. The remaining two wires (one on each fan) are the only ones connected to the 24v power supply.

Those single leaves are only supposed to be there during early sprouting, and deep into flower. Your plant will still make bud just fine though. Ive seen plants like that before for the same reason.
