Hermi. Anyone Know about DM Reverse and Saturator?

Maybe my plant is a freak. I used Reverse and Saturate and many leaves became blotchy and had spots after 6 days. It did seem work however the plant looks sickly and seems to have slightly stunted in its bud production compared to the sister plant. I had a light leak near this plant and the...

    Male Plants

For any unusable plant (male) I let them get big in veg, then I harvest the leaves. Although there is little or no THC in a male, they are strong in cannabinoids and the leaves can be dried out for extracting oils, making butter, using in foods. My wife makes Pumpkin cookies that will make...

    Nute burn?

I don't believe it is nute burn. Nute burn will affect older leaves and usually just the tips will turn brown. Your PH might be off and you may be lacking nitrogen. With nitrogen deficiency plants will exhibit lack of vigor, slow growth and will be weak and stunted. Quality and yield will be...

Is this a decent grow box?

Incandescent is flat out a waste of energy. I recommended fluorescent because they run cool, use less energy and produce more useable light, I would never recommend incandescent HPS, or any other HID style lamp when growing inside a cardboard box just due to the heat factor. Common sense is a...

Is this a decent grow box?

I agree on that box being a fire hazard. Hot incandescent bulbs and cardboard are a bad combo. Plus incandescent lamps produce more heat than light. What you want too look for is good LUMEN output and KELVIN temperature of 6500 to start. If you cant find a kelvin rating, look for the word...

hey guys....is it male or female

G&L It may be a quickbud plant that will autoflower, or a clone that was about to flower. It is not too unusual. My girls are still in veg and are showing.

    Wiring Question

This is great news!!! The multi-tap transformers I have worked with were under 480v. Sorry I wasn't more helpful. Good job on the research!!!

    Wiring Question

It looks like you have lamps that you cannot use. On some lamps they have a multi-tap transformer so they can be wired for 120/208/240/277 and usually the 480s are not multi tap. The 480v lamps like yours have a 120v dropdown for instant (backup) lighting in the event of a power failure, a...

    Wiring Question

TO RESIDUAL FREEDOM: I agree, if both circuits get a 15 amp load then nothing travels back on the neutral. The neutral is a return for an unbalanced load. For example if one circuit had 10 amp draw and the other has a 5 amp draw. Only 5 amps is returned on the neutral.

    Wiring Question

Those lamps are rated at 480v which is industrial/commercial voltage. You may not be able to use them.

    Wiring Question

240 volts is actually better because even though you are using the same amount of electricity, the amperage is half and less stress on your wiring. The higher the voltage, the smaller the amperage. Plus you are using two hot legs, no neutrals overloaded. (wink)

Secret grow room . . . Input needed

One sound piece of advice I can give from experience is: Make sure ventilation is adequate. Not too hot (or cold). If you have neighbors or nosy Nellies nearby then air cleaning/scrubbing is a must. Keep in mind that the plants will stink up your home and adjacent areas if you are not careful...
