no light for three days before chop?

The 3 days of darkness is for potency. Light degrades THC, which is why most growers harvest prior to the lights coming on. Brick Top posted a study by SIMM (stitching institute of medical marijuana) that stated this technique showed up to 30% increases in THC in some strains. That does not...

    SLH Round 2! 400w MH/HPS

Thanks man! I got the box on craigslist for $100, but it took months of stalking to find the right one. It actually is a nice antique piece that probably should not have been destroyed for growing. Ideally, you want one that is the right dimensions with no crap or shelves in the middle to...

    SLH Round 2! 400w MH/HPS

Yeah, about an oz/ plant. That was a standard 250w hps and 2 gallon buckets. I was trying to double that this time, with a 400w hortilux and bigger pots/some LST scheme I dreamed up but one plant is being an asshole so we will see. SLH is just not a huge yielder although I've seen some better...

    SLH Round 2! 400w MH/HPS

I topped these above the 2nd node. I also use Big Bloom on the "plain" days, but if you look at the bottle the ratios are nill. Do what you usually do and if you start to see yellowing or drop early on, you know what to do. This was my dry yield off 2 plants under 250w last time.

    SLH Round 2! 400w MH/HPS

You just need to watch them. I had 5 gallon pots, which enabled them to stretch more. Depending on your height restriction and method of growing, I would count on them tripling in height. Yes, I wish I would have flipped a week or week and a half sooner. Too much plant energy was focused on...

83.3 degrees day / 78 night - 400W MH 30" from my two week olds

Your temps are fine, however, people say the cooler the better. I would measure at the tops though, not the shade IMO

    Acceptable Humidity

Dryer is better, but 55 would probably be at the very high end. Throw in another big damp rid

My plants are slowly dying!!!! PLease help

You'll be fine. And you aren't going to screw your plant with a light folliar feed. Do a search, people do it all the time. The main risk is in flower. Obviously, you do not want to spray chemicals on your buds or cause them to grow mold.

My plants are slowly dying!!!! PLease help

They generally don't filter out calcium or at least enough

My plants are slowly dying!!!! PLease help

Folliar feed with RO water. Dilute your normal nutes and some cal-mag. Flush your medium with RO water and no nutes for a week or so. You have to flush out the lock before you feed or you will exacerbate your problem. As far as the folliar feed, just spray them down and let them dry a bit...

    Let's talk about hookers

HA! Sex is never free. Reality: Every time you have sex a monetary transaction takes place in some form sooner or later whether it's buying the drinks, the flowers, the diamond or that new piece of furniture. Whores are probably the most cost effective option.

My plants are slowly dying!!!! PLease help

Gracias. Calcium lockout is a real bitch. Been there done that. Most see it and just scream deficiency! Dump this in it! Then they fry the plant. Kudos to the op if he found water to be his issue on the first grow. Took my dumbass two before I realized it was just the water all along.

My plants are slowly dying!!!! PLease help

This op needs to flush. I think that is clear. Maybe twice if calcium overload. When he flushes he going to enhance/create new deficiencies if he does not folliar feed. Flush, folliar feed and get back on a reg schedule with RO or distilled water.

My plants are slowly dying!!!! PLease help

Folliar feeding is going to be the quickest way to clear up a deficiency especially if your soil is locked out from too much Calcium. Treat the plant and clean up the soil at the same time plus the results are faster. As far as nute ratios, heavily dilute when foliar feeding. There may be...

My plants are slowly dying!!!! PLease help

You dilute the nutes to a very low strength and put the solution in a spray bottle and spray the leaves. Not as big of a deal in veg. Don't get any on the buds
