1st Grow!!! PICS!, 400hps, Sativa, Scrog

Hey guys got some pics for you. Here's my scrog grow, it's approx 14 x 24" total size for 1 plant. Flowering under a hps, and it's exactly the 13 day of flowering. Hairs started appearing on the 6th day. I wish my nikon f70 could take digital pics, until I get a better camera, this is the best I...

ah k, so you've already stopped tying them down, i missed that. There's really no way to split that screen up w/o losing light in the pathways, how are you going to set it up next time you grow scrog?

I call it: The BillyBob scrOG.

When are you going to stop tying or threading your plants through the screen, if ever? Would buds that are lying on their sides, or standing up be receiving more light? I won't have to worry about this for another 5 weeks, but I'd like to get a handle on it now. I imagine it would be a...

btw, i see you have air cooled hoods, what is the flow setup of your system? I have the inlet pulling from close to the plant, straight into the inline fan, then the fan blows that air over the bulb in the cool tube and through to the outlet

Hey BB, I've been following your scrog for the past few weeks, man I hope you get at least 5 pounds, it's looking that way. This is so much fun to watch. I think you're under doing it on the air movement. I'm using a 280 cfm fan for a < 100 ft^3 closet, and I use a 400 watt hps. That being...

    430W HPS Setup.

There's only one way to grow 10 plants under a 430 hps. SOG, sea of green, look it up. Your dimensions could be 2'w x 2.5'L x 2.5'h for all 10 plants, keep the plants small. The space that houses that grow area must be at least 2.5'w x 4'L x 4.5'h. Soiless mix is fine but get 10...

Marc Emery takes 5 years in prison from Seattle DA

yea, absolutely correct, i think the concession that he is going to recieve jailtime as a sentence is the story. The Canadian government should be ashamed of themselves.

    CFL's ARE BRUTAL!

Besides Humbolt's grows I haven't seen many cfl grows that use nearly enought lights, and this method is a large force in the grow journals right now. The little plants do fine under them, up to 6-8" i'd say, but as they get bigger you just can't service the majority of the plant, I've tried...

    Little yellow/white rice looking bugs???????

http://www.inhs.uiuc.edu/cbd/aphid/images/gynopara_lg.jpg Those are them in the pic, not the big fly in the middle, but the little yellow ovals around it. They are destructive, you'll get little holes in they youngest foliage, they love the young stuff. If you have a few now, chances are...
