Gonna bake a maple pie tonight, then tomorrow morning I have to tackle the corn pudding, green bean casserole, Mac n cheese, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and ham.
Yeah, just chop ‘em up a bit, maybe drain them in a sieve. Alternatively, you could take half the strawberries, blend them up with sugar and cream, and use that for the wet ingredients. Itll impart a pink hue, and help keep them a little more moist.
That would work too, but scones are already fairly dry. Often fruit is added to bring a little moisture back into the mix, where as any freeze dried fruit soaks up whatever moisture that IS there like a sponge.

They do slightly. I Noticed a 1-2mph reduction in top speed, but it’s well worth it to have the confidence to roll through most situations with ease.
As far as range, not much difference noticed.
