Yep. Those are balls in pics 2 and 3.

    Showing off my first girl

Here are the clones, chillin' under CFLs. They were put into cups 5 days ago after being rooted in peat pellets. The one in the front is the victim of being knocked over by my clumsy ass. She seems nice and perky this morning, though, even after losing some roots in the spill. I re-cupped her...

    Showing off my first girl

As I just posted in the indoor growing forum, somehow yesterday I fucked up and hit the switch on my timer over to ON instead of TIMER, which I did not notice until 5.5 hours after time for lights out. Bottom line - Charlene and her no-gender-showing sibling got 17.5 hours of light yesterday...

    Light timer mishap. DOH!

I have two plants in flower for 14 days, one definitely female and one stubborn late bloomer who won't show me gender yet. The problem: Somehow yesterday I hit the switch on my timer over to ON instead of TIMER. I didn't realize this until I happened to notice I could still hear my big fan...

light leaks from air intake /air flaps of homebox ?

If the box is always in a lit room then you're going to have to use darkroom techniques. Light won't go around right angles, so you can rig up exhaust/intake covers with two right angles in them, and paint the insides of them black. Then cover the ends with black screen/filter/etc. You will...

    The leaf texture changed!?

The one in the tan pot looks stretched and weak from low light. It doesn't look "smooth" so much as it looks like a not-so-happy indica. As for the plant in the green pot, I have no idea what's going on there. From the severe damage, wilting and blurry pics it's barely identifiable as Mary at all.

What would be the 1 tip you'd give to a newbie grower?

First I would stress things already said - read up thoroughly and have all growing needs covered before you start. Main thing I'd stress that hasn't been mentioned yet: pH. I've seen hundreds of threads as I've lurked and learned wherein people are chasing problems all over the place, looking...

    help!!!!!!nute burn?not enough nutes?have pics!!

It looks a little stretched (low light) and maybe overwatered. I agree that the plant looks too young to be feeding it. Also, as suggested, knowing pH would help a lot.

ROFL... "you gotta try this shit." You are on a roll, sir.

    Need Help

Pics of the set-up, or at least the plants and pots, would help.

    New plant, Questions on methods.

Why rocks? You shouldn't need any extra drainage with a proper soil mix. Even as a top dressing I wouldn't want all that extra weight and restriction of air. There won't be a lot of medium in the pot to retain water, and with all the rocks it will be hard to tell when the pot is dry by feel.

    Tricks of the Trade

I don't know specific needs of Blueberry, if any. You should be able to find some grows of it on here and see what they did... And yeah, you don't have to get the really expensive digital pH and TDS pens for a small operation. You can get them for about $20, but you'll need to calibrate them...

    Caption this photo!

I'm taking the liberty of reposting this pic from subcool's epic Garden of Weeden sticky thread in the Outdoor Growing forum. If you haven't seen it, go there now and read it to see trees - literal trees. Anyway, the attached pic is in his thread. This is a certain grower's trim-disposal...

    The Garden of Weeden

Those were breathtaking plants. Well, trees. You can't call something that big a "plant" anymore. Plus rep. in all things in life for you. Amazing!:o And this pic of the cow is fucking hilarious. It just BEGS for a caption contest or a motivational poster slogan. Got Milk? lmao...

    will my plants revert?

Autumnal equinox is Sept. 21-22 in the Northern Hemisphere; that's the day of 12/12 from Mother Nature. So, if you put them outside before then the photoperiod will be more than 12 hours, right? Edit: In other words, to answer you - I think they would revert or stress to hermi or something...

Husband is gone - need help carrying on

Sounds ok, yep. Poke a few holes for air flow and keep an eye on the humidity and temp. 75-85F is good. A heating pad under them helps them makes roots, too. Remember they can only get water through the leaves until they make roots, so mist them a few times a day. As they stop wilting, mist them...

    Tricks of the Trade

The difference in the water going in and the water coming out lets you know if your soil runs acidic or alkaline, and the runoff shows you what pH your plants are sitting in. From what I've read, the optimal pH for nutrient uptake in soil is 6.8, so you can adjust the pH of your water until the...

Husband is gone - need help carrying on

Just sayin'... keep in mind that someone who is probably VERY pissed at you right now can make one phone call and ruin your whole day. I would not brush that off quickly if I were you. Good luck with everything. Keep us posted with pics of the girls. :D

Husband is gone - need help carrying on

I hope you mean reverting the clones to veg. Please don't try to revert those flowering femmes. If you're determined to take clones, spend some time selecting the exact clone sites. Mark them with twist ties. Read up on it, watch videos, and get the right supplies and lighting and grow space set...
