its usually all on personal preferance. unless you have space restrictions. i couldnt quite tell by all ur pics. but if you do 30 days is fine... the longer you veg, the bigger, stronger, the entire plant gets in general. resulting in a larger yield. just time consuming lol i dont like that...

yea i hope it does alright, shes been growing at least half an inch every day ( for the past 5 days). i REALLY need to get myself a ph meter. but thanks for the help. if anyone else has comments/suggestions or can help with my other questions? that be awsome! :leaf:

most definatly true lol ive had seedlings that didnt make it past the first set of leafs. some took one month to get 2 inches tall but turned into the most beautiful lol all outdoor :) id say its worth it... lookin foward to the pics ;) im posting a thread tomorrow of my ladies lol

so i have this plant that has been growing and im 2 weeks into flowering. plant is very bushy, lots of leafs, internodes/nodes and is all around healthy. there are like a max of 8 or 9 small white hairs and thats it. everytime i think bud is sprouting.. its just more leaf. ive never seen such...

very true but the lumalux bulbs will have to do for now as i will be spending alot on the ballast and light fixture... can anyone answere this? if i kept the hps on the entire grow but had a couple blue specrum cfl's in there during veg. would this be effective? would it be enough? or should i...

yeah i cant wait to get the hps up and running. cfl's veg well but flower garbage... the cfl crystal idea just came from a few post i read, and there are a few nice cfl grows on this site. but my plant wont flower with em lol. but.. is the one 400W hps good enough to cover 5 or 6 plants in that...

thanks for the quick replies dude.. ( no i dun live in toronto ). n i only plan on growing 6 max. i can thow in a couple extra blue specrum cfls. but if 1 400 watt hps can grow 6 quality. i may as well save other bulb as a replacement. il figure somethin out about the heat. im not too familiar...
