    Ou8aCracker2's 3x3x6 400w vert barebulb donut.

While it may be easier to wet trim,I find a higher quality product by dry trimming. I hang whole plants in a room kept between 55°F and 65°F with an RH% of 55% to 65%. After about 5 days I'll remove branches from the main stalk and let hang an additional 3 or so days then remove buds from...

1000 watt light, 5x5 or 4x4 grow tent?

50w per square foot minimum and 66w max.More light isn't necessarily better and there is a saturation point and that little thing called the point of diminishing return.

    Would You Suck..... OR Blow??

When using a standard air cooled hood I would set it up as so... Intake air > carbon filter > fan > a/c hood > ducting > outside. The reasin being that standard a/c hoods aren't 100% sealed most of the time and if you were to suck air over the light rather than blowing, you run the risk if...

Help! 430w hps vs. 600w hps in sog closet grow! Do I need more space?

Adding another light is going to add considerable heat, especially if you add another 430w HID,so you'll need to up your exhuast as well. I feel a 600w HPS on a light rail would be best in that area.

    5 400w hps vs 2 x 1000w

2x 1kw lights are good for a 4x8 to 5x8 canopy and 4x 400w lights a 5x5 to 6x6 canopy. No matter which way you go,just supply a minimum of 50w per square foot of canopy.

    Proper purple strains?

No,not all strains of marijuana contain the anthocyanin pigment. You need to do some serious research on genetics.

    Positioning my 150 w HPS

    1) a 400w light would be way too much for that space,so would a 250w HID. A 150 is the right amount if light for a 3 square foot area (50w to 66w per square foot is optimal). 2) It's about finding the equilibrium of light spread and canopy temp.

Afghan on 4-5th node only 3'' tall about 9" wide normal?

You're not very bright and your noobness is showing lol. Indica plants grow shorter (less space between internodes) or squater than sativas.

    ready yet?

You can flower a plant at any time. Are you asking if it's sexually mature? The answer would be as long as it's showing preflowers in veg.

    Proper purple strains?

Wrong, they have to have the underlying anthocyanin pigment in the genetic makeup. If all plants turn purple in the cold then why is it only some of my plants (of different genetics) turn purple in the same grow environment hmmm?! Speak not of what you know nothing about.

    Is she ready? Or almost?

What do the trichomes under a 60x-100x scope tell you?

Grams per kWh instead of GPW

I will agree that GpKwh is a reading of true efficiency over GPW but high density (dangerously high plant count) is where you get the good GpKw/h numbers. I'll stick to less plants, longer veg for a good GPW.

    Flushing

Synthetic nutes are usually high in heavy metals so you would want to flush. With 100% organics the plant only eats what it wants when it wants it.With synthetic nutes, the plant feeds everytime you feed, and any left over salts from the ladt feed are also taken up by the roots when you water...

    New DWC grower.

Wow,surprised no one caught this. Your EC and PPM are way way waaaaaay off. PPM is a conversion of EC and the three conversion points are .5 .64 and .7 ie; 1.0 EC = 500 PPM @ .5 conversion 1.0 EC = 640 PPM @ .64 conversion 1.0 EC = 700 PPM @ .7 conversion There is no possible...

when is suggested best time to repot in coco

As usual, quite a few roots are coming out of the bottom or you can pick the plant up by the stem and it doesn't move around in the coco.

CO2 is it the magic bullet.

    Yes you can,but 90°F is still too hot.You shouldn't go over 85°F/86°F with co2.

    Flushing

A flush of 3x the medium is only for nutrient toxicity, and should be done with 1/4 strength nute solution. A proper harvest flush is jist plain pH'd water at normal watering levels, not 3x the medium.
