    Help with Trichome ID

Here's a bit of closure for everyone: I picked one little top at 55 days, dried it for a week. Frantically smoked it: It was garbage. I picked one stem at 60 days, it has been curing for 16 days now. I have been pulling dry bits off for a couple days and they are better. A light head high...

    Help with Trichome ID

Haters gonna hate, but you had me at with the George Carlin quote! And you say you don't flush your plants!?! The logic on flushing has never made sense to me, but I haven't read Marijuana Chemistry or Botany yet, so it figures.

    Help with Trichome ID

Holy smokes! What kind (name, lineage, etc) of plant are you growing? Or is your growing method that brings such early loveliness to your plant? Probably both, eh? I'm kind of glad my plant didn't look so nice so soon. It would have made the waiting that much harder :P

    Help with Trichome ID

#4 :weed: Not highjacking - adding input! I had noticed the same thing too, where the piddly buds in between the valleys of big bud spears looked like they had more red hairs and cloudier trichs than the main buds.

    Help with Trichome ID

Because of my local climate this is where I order my outdoor seeds from. Last year the deer (or rabbit or porcupine, or some other bastard) ate them, so I can't vouch for finished product. Cages have already been made for this year :) http://hempdepot.ca/seeds/FOG/index.html Nice pic of the...

    Help with Trichome ID

Good advice and something I will need to start soon. I didn't get my LST into proper gear so there's a high and a low side to the plant growth, as you can see in the pic below taken a week or so ago... and yes, before anyone feels the need to mention it I know that little red LED rope light is...

    Help with Trichome ID

No worries, I wrote and erased many sarcastic/spiteful responses to several of the posts on this thread (after learning something of value from each person who posted) before just letting it be and rolling one up :P Your input is appreciated.

    Help with Trichome ID

Thanks for the compliment. It's my first indoor grow and am trying the CFL route. Do you know how much more (if at all) trichromes will mature after harvesting?

    Help with Trichome ID

Thanks for the legitimate responses and, as always, glad to see some healthy, if not occasionally childish debating. I was pretty sure it wasn 't ready, but was also under the impression that some of the clearer trichromes would turn cloudy as they finish ripening after harvest... Or is that not...

    Help with Trichome ID

Hey Folks, Can anyone help me ID these trichomes!?! It looks like at least half of them are cloudy, but I am A) a Newb and untrained and B) Suspicious because I'm only 45 days into the advertised 55-65 days for indoor flowering that the seedbank advertised with this strain. I Know environmental...

BB: DOG KUSH GROW OFF!!! Mans best friend, all welcome.

Only recently, in the past few week For the first few months the box was going down to 10C/50F at night. The weather's FINALLY changing, but it still goes down to about 15C/59F these nights. Do you think this temp drop is going to effect the quality of my bud? Daytime temps are around...

BB: DOG KUSH GROW OFF!!! Mans best friend, all welcome.

Just out of curiousity do you work with blueberry alot? I am growing a blueberryXNL plant and was previously kind of worried about my red stems, but after reading your comments, am less anxious. Do these stems look on par with what I should expect (from a novcice, indoor CFL microgrow). I'm in...

How to get huge, dense, sticky buds using CFLs - ONLY!

The potency debate has compelling arguments on both sides, which is why I'm trying to test it out myself. I still plan on begging my plant for a week or so, are you saying I should put it into flower now with 12/12? Also I wish I could turn my potter on its side, but the way I designed my box...

How to get huge, dense, sticky buds using CFLs - ONLY!

Hey there, I have a question about the lights in your boxes, the way they are shown in IMAG3612.jpg. Are the bulbs touching each other? I was warned about putting CFL bulbs in contact with one another to avoid any chance of shattering them ... any experience with that? Also, after viewing you...

Anyone ever use Reflectix insulation from Lowes?

Where I'm growing is also pretty cold, I made the newbiest mistake of lining my grow box with tin foil, but have been told that it's a) not reflective enough and b) too much of a heat trap... My box is too hot with just CFLs and I have to prop the lid to keep it between 75-80f. Do you think that...

Questions For My Next CFL setUp

Correct I am watering every other day. Thanks for the tip re: the aluminium foil. It sure looks shiny to my human eyes, but I've been fooled by less before. I'll be interested to see how the temp changes with some Mylar. Good luck with your garden!

Questions For My Next CFL setUp

I've just started my first CFL operation, but I am enjoying using a 136L Roughneck container for growing in. I sunk a single planter into the middle of the container (see pic), but you could easily fit three plants in there. The box was 17$ at HomeDepot. Since you've done this...
