well thats what a hempy grow is... its hydro with no pumps(electrical) or soil...

i def agree... they look dried out and nute burnt all at once...

im not saying 5.5 is the ideal... im only suggesting that you bring it down to better put you in the 5.8 range...

a hempy bucket is exactly what your doing... its a soilless grow... ppl use coco coir, vermiculite, perlite, or a combination of the 3... you also add hydroton, or rocks to the bottom of your pot to create a reservoir and to help with drainage... essentially the roots grow to this reservoir area...

your ph is to high to be doing a hempy grow... try dropping it a little more to about 5.5 to get your runoff at 5.8 or so... hempy grows are just like dwc so you want your ph around 5.8... my tap water is crappy like yours and i have to add 8-9ml of ph down if i add a full dose of nutes to my...

my last set up was aero and i did not use bleach or h2o2 and i got horrible root rot in all of my plants... i was able to save one... since then i clean my res with bleach when the water is changed and i add h2o2 every other day bc i have a small res... the smaller the res the quicker the h2o2...

dude you can get a 400 watt hps/mh light kit on ebay for as low as 140... get the rest at a hardware store and build it yourself... never short change the light...

hey guys so ive decided to use an hps light when my ladies are ready to move from the cfl cab i have to the closet... do you think the difference in my light bill would be much greater if i got a 600w hps rather than a 400w hps???

hey guys sorry ive been out of town and hadnt gotten a chance to post... chopped down the lady yesterday when i got in and hung her up to dry... i now have 8 that have germinated in the easy taps and plan on moving them to solo cups in the next day or two... ended up getting a ton of coco coir...
