I'm using mg soil. Probably a mistake. I bumped up my water ph to about 8 and emptied about a gallon into one plant, checked the ph again and it was about 4.5-5. When you say flush you mean running lots of water through the soil?

The ph of the water is 6 going into the soil, coming out its 4.

I'm using distilled water so my water ph is 6. After watering I take a sample from the water dripping out of the pots and the ph is like 4. I add ph up to the water and try again, water coming through soil is still 4-4.5? Any have any advice?

Im using 2.76 Liter pots already. If I go any bigger I wont be able to get them all under the light. I have 4 girls under 150w hps.

I just took a look at my girls and noticed the roots are starting to come out of the opening of the bottom of the pot. Is this a bad thing? Should I put some tape over the opening to stop the roots from coming out? Has this happened to anyone else?

When I top it do I just cut off the top? How tall should my girls be before I top them? And for the fans do I cut them at the base of the main stem or leave a little. Sorry for all the questions Just trying to learn how to do this right.

Do I trim my girls or let them grow wild? If I'm supposed to trim them how do I go about doing this?
