First Grow with CFL's using bagseed

My from-the-hip guess is that CFL's don't have quite the oomph that HIDs have, so the plant can't use as much food. Try maybe pretending you're a week behind where you actually are for feeding schedual, ie. feed them less, starting later, ramping up slower. Looking pretty good regardless...

    Pre-flowers?

Preflowers are a sign of a fully mature and ready to flower plant. Keeping it in veg longer will make for a bigger plant with similarly bigger needs, which will, of course, mean a bigger harvest if all goes well...but if you see preflowers, it's ready for 12/12 any time.

    COLLEGE And Growing

No one mentioned santa clause, I have my own baby teeth, and every great accomplishment started as a dream. A journy of a thousand miles starts with a single step, and you're just trying to stick your foot out and trip the guy. Stop being a douche. To the OP: Pursue your dream, but have a...

    2nd attempt is way better

My reading has suggested that after 20/4 you've reached a point of diminishing returns which makes it "better" to give your plants the few hours of dark because those 4 hours you're "sacrificing" are pretty much useless to the plant anyway.

    2nd attempt is way better

I'm going to toss out the idea that Nitro's got too much light hitting those young cuttings. Even if you don't give them full dark, they really don't like full sun.

    2nd attempt is way better

This is incorrect, and provable with just about any plant in existance, including our beloved herb. All that extra stuff is just for increased success. Seriously, it can be a simple or as complicated as you feel you need to make it. *edit* Just gonna toss out this LINK and tell you to...

What reward do you get out of trying to crush a man's dream?

    New box, New grow

Fat stems = Supercropping. Crush the inner herd of the stem tissue during veg growth and the early flower stretch. I do it every other week right before a really good feeding and I usually tie them down after giving them a squeeze. My girls like it rough...just ask my wife. I'll try to get...

    2nd attempt is way better

From what I've read, certain genetics just don't like to root clones well. It seems to be strains with a lot of indica blood in them. Why don't you try grandma's method with one clone and just stick it in a plain glass of water for a while. Are your roots getting light on them? Hmmmm...root...

    COLLEGE And Growing

Yeah, because, of course, there are no "real jobs" in the world that need a degree in botany, plant biology, horticulture, etc.

    Organic Grow Cab.

Pretty pretty. I love LST, spending the time training the plants is so relaxing. Such dense little bonsai bushes. Hope these make your holidays happy...don't forget to make the cannabutter cookies with the hash trash. :leaf:

    SPEAKER GROW!! NEW! 3 x 32w CFL !!

Assuming half your seeds will be male and you want a chance to pick a strong plant rather than being stuck with a runt, you should plant 4 seeds to get the one good female you want to grow out. Start them in something small, like trimmed down 20 oz soda bottles or party cups, then transplant...

    help me out

Paint the inside of that box flat white (not gloss or semi-gloss...might be labeled matte finish), including the ceiling. IMO, get yourself 1 (one) big CFL, I think a 46 watt (real wattage) will fit into a regular light socket. If that won't fit in there, then get a couple (2-4) of the 23-26...

    2nd attempt is way better

Throwing a HI at my man nitro. How's it growing, bro? Threw some pics up in my New Grow, some of them of seedlings a couple weeks old that have been LST'd. About to make some Oatmeal Raisin cookies with some cannabutter I made from my trim last night and it got me to wondering what other...

    Lst

Something to remember when using LST. You use this training method to redistribute the growth hormones from the main tip to the lower sites. To do this you must make the main tip lower than the other sites, ie. at least horizontal, otherwise you are just tying your plant down. This applies to...

    2nd attempt is way better

I am not a master cloner. What I do know: Take clones of a decent length to work with (a couple of inches at least), make sure they have a good, solid stem and cut it from the mother close to the trunk. Get the end of the cutting under water ASAP and continue working underwater to prevent...

Just tossing out a couple of pics. 1. Cola of plant in pic 2 2. A plant I didn't LST. Seeing how it does straight up. I already know I won't be doing it again, I had to lower the shelf to accomodate and I just prefer the way the little LST'd bushes look. 3. Cola of plant in pic 4 4. One...
