what the f*ckkkkkkk is with the paper towel stuff lol

Agreed. I listened to advice like this from my first grow on. I have never had a seed not germinate out of the paper towel. I have had them die plenty on me from fucking up planting them afterwards, but as far as the seed germinating and sprouting a little root I have had 100% success for over a...

    Cured Bud Pics

Thanks! :) bongsmilie I hang mine to dry usually takes anywhere from 4-7 days, 5 is typical. As soon as the stems break when I bend them, but not completely crispy you still want slight moisture for a good cure, although you have to make sure you are good about opening your jars to let out the...

    Cured Bud Pics

Hey guys. Been through plenty of grows with you guys help now but have never really posted many pics due to my lack of a camera. My roommate just bought a 12 megapixel Nikon so here are a few tasty photos of my last nugs from last harvest (I chopped em in June I believe). Mango from BCSeedKing...

    FROM Libya (South africa)

Looks like you're doing pretty well. When the plant is that small just make sure you don't get the light too close. Intense light and/or heat can kill your seedling very quickly. Once it gets bigger you can bring your lights closer. You have them a distance away which is good for now :blsmoke:

    Help Me Revive her Please

Those are fungus nats. Super common. I haven't had a single pest besides those. They come from not letting your soil dry enough between watering. They don't harm your foliage too much but they will chew the eff out of your roots if they get bad.

1000w hps 6'' or 4'' to cool it?

Man...not to derail or anything, but I just finished off a crazy breakfast at 7:00am. Eggs w/ cheese, tabasco, & salsa. Gorton's beer battered fish fillets also w/ tabasco. Coffee to speed things up a bit....definitely a hangover breakfast haha. I can hear by colon screaming in terror already.

Fo serious! Definitely love that thing. So much light...so even...*moan* *moan* edit: And props on your setup mang, looks badass! Beatiful lookin girlies. I'm envious that you got both lights going. Seein some people's pics makes me turn green like their plants haha.

1000w hps 6'' or 4'' to cool it?

Fo sho. I'd get the 4" if you're ballin on a budget and you know all its gonna have to do is cool that one light. If you think you ever might want to expand by adding a light or a carbon scrubber that you might need the fan to do some extra work, then I'd spring for the 6" :bigjoint:

1000w hps 6'' or 4'' to cool it?

I have been using a 1000w hps to flower for about a year. I started out using a 4" Vortex in line fan to cool a Sun Supply Yieldmaster II 6" glass covered hood. I necked down one 6" opening to the hood to connect the 4" fan. It worked just fine in my opinion my plants would get closer than 6" to...

Who pays $80 for one seed?

You can get most Serious and Sensi strains (except a few very expensive strains) for around $100-$150 for 10 seeds. That's $10-$15 per seed and their genetics are stable and proven. Go with the proven stuff the first time around and there's no disappointments.

I need help with ph prob

If it's at 7.0 that's not exactly ideal you want to be between 6.5-6.9 for soil typically, but honestly nothing wrong with 7.0. I give mine straight tap water that's at 7.0 if I'm not giving any nutes and I've never had a ph problem at all, they stay beautiful and healthy. You're just worrying...

I need help with ph prob

lol@people testing their soil and runoff. Only reason to test your soil would be if you were using some sketchy soil from outside or a weird source. Most bag soil should be ph balanced. The only thing you should be testing is the water that you are giving your plants, take it from an...

    super cropping/topping

I pulled in almost a pound off of my 6 allowed indoor medical plants. I didn't even veg them that big under my fluoros before I put them under my 1000W HPS for flower. I topped them 1 time only when they were small and then low stressed trained the lower branches as they grew out. I used to use...

    S.o.s. Omfg please help!

Obviously everyone's situation is different, but maybe you could try an indoor and make up for your loss? CFL's are cheap, don't produce much heat, can fit in a really tight space with your plants, and can actually produce a really dank crop. Still got hope for your sickly outdoor baby...
