you cant really flush with MG, i've used it for most of my grows (with added perlite) and never worried about flushing. it always tastes great too! Oh and Patience is vital to growing!!!

I would try as hard as possible not to cut them. if you're using CFL's (sounds like it) i would get some more and place them around the sides of your plant. cutting isnt bad, but it is what the plant lives and grows off of. no leaves = no photosynthesis.

i would recommend no one but roseman to anyone learning hydo. he is the man, and is the most helpful person you can probably count on.

I wouldn't ever get the chemical based stuff, thats a no brainer to me. i'm the guy when buying things for my baby that spends 20 minutes reading the label to make sure its ok to use.

everyone has pretty much said what needed to be said, but definitely take the tin foil outta there. whoever said buy the 10 bucks worth of mylar was right, your room is tiny and its a small investment. other wise buy a small thing of flat white paint and go to town.
