    Anyone seen this before?

8.0 ph....wow, way too high... stress will cause deformations. Heat, nutrient deficiencies, transplant shock, ph imbalance all have affects. Not that you have them, but spider mites can cause that too. Lil bastards webb-up the leaves and cause leaf curling.

Can anyone explain PPM or TDS?

If it's for a couple trees lugging around RO (reverse osmosis) water is ok, distilled water is ok to, but will be more $. One thing about filtered/ distilled water...it works too good. Usually you will have to add calcium- magnesium - iron (CalMag or SensiCal Mg Mix) to your feeding program...

    venting heat and odor together

A "damper" allows the air to travel in one direction ("out") it has a flap that shuts when the air stops flowing; it's an optional piece of equipment. T8 generate some heat, if you see heat stressing the trees add some ventilation (out).

8000 watts plus other stuff will i be cool on power will compony trip

Well, in California a busy place like los angeles residential Edison rates are the worst they are structured on tear levels (5 total) you start with a base (which is ridiculous), then for each tier that you consume....the rate gets higher. And that ac unit how much is that going to...

    Growing in JULY

Gotta start at some point, so.... test the waters. Seedlings can get chewed up. i would start them in a green house or patio until 18 to 24 inches, then put them elsewhere to finish.....use the same soil (if good or amend) where they will finish. Oh! be careful of animals and critters that love...

@ stealth growes in the US, need advice.

Nobody needs legal headaches, you should have used a different address or driven to buy equipment cash. Humm, wait awhile or do it else where. Can you account for the extra electrical when you get going? Grow in Peace.

    Humboldt snow storm and gravity?

I tried Snowstorm 1 once since it was simulare to Purple Maxx which caused the trees to feed ferociously in my opinion.....results were ok, i remember purple Maxx working better and not to turn the trees purple. Gravity....read the fine print "contains metals" refer to web page. Coloidal metals...

    Help needed..this shit is sad..

Yeah...trees look sad. Can you barrow or get some tools PH & TDS Meter? Collect and check the run off: PH 6.0 to 6.5, TDS no higher than 1400 ppm consistently. Are the containers heavy- too much water, stagnant smell-flush, are they getting enough calcium magneceium if using reverse osmosis water.

Can anyone explain PPM or TDS?

Yes, the Info. above is good. A decent book on the subject will explain...maybe a youtube vid out there as well. Stay within the range so the plants uptake all that they can, outside the ranges tree's have trouble with in-taking nutrients. One more thing, start out with the cleanest or know...

    piercing plant stems ;-)

I see all the back & forth here and no real answer. I've never pierced a stem close to harvest time, but it may be worth it to experiment and see for yourself, let us know if it works?

which is better 240v or 120v

Yup... many way's to light-up the setup. 110v setup, more amperage less voltage vs 220v more voltage less amperage. 110v spins the meter quicker but in the end.... we all pay the kilowatt's consumed (watts). The advantage of 220v is being able to put more ballast's on one circuit. The MLC-4 or...

    venting heat and odor together

The Veg room will have will have some odor, the Flower room definitely. You might have to try a couple of ideas to see which works better. For the best odor control each area will need a carbon filter. There are a few ways to do this. 1. Bower sucks unsmelly air from outside, thru the "sealed...

    Anyone seen this before?

Hum, i see some discoloration in the background and the curl. You might have more than one issue...hopefully not? If you have the tools to test the TDS & PH... put your tree in a larger container to catch the run off for testing and see what the numbers indicate. Use clean water, adjust to 6.5...

    Strange smell and drooping buds

Yeah, you could have stagnant medium (soil) or reservoir (hydro), sniff around and flush with clean water if found.
