So I'm a little confused... youguys think that if I usewd my hps from seed till now (3 1/2 weeks into flower) the buds won't be tight and full as if I used two or three times the lumens than in veg? I'm very curious about what everyone thinks on this...

So it was brought to my attention that it is recommended that you have three times the amount of lumens during flowering than in veg. I have been using the same 1000w hps from seedling to now, I'm 3 1/2 weeks into flowering. Will my buds just not develop as thick and full as if I had 3000w, or...

Really... stalled out in flowering? I've used 1000w hps all the way through from seedling till now haven't upped the lumens or anything... ine seem to be doing just fine for 3 1/2 weeks into flowering...

I'd recommend reptile 10.0 uvb compacts as well... they sell them at your local pet store, they are 26w each, I would use at least 2 to an equivalent of 500w of regular lighting.

you don't need a commercial air pump with that little of a set up. go to a pet store and get a air pump there, they are used for aquariums and they are very quite and will work perfectly for what you need.

no air through the pump won't damage it... use a clean water flush when changing nutrients... i've spent alot of wasted time trying t oget levels exact and learned over the years it doesn't matter... as long as the salt content in the water doesn't exceed the salt content in your plants and you...

I use a straight up dwc with a 50 gal rez and 4 netpots in the same rez, works pretty effeciently but the problem I have ran into is noe that I'm 4 weeks into flowering, to change the water and clean out the rez I have to lift the top, which is very heavy and delicate, I don't want to mess with...
