    Vacation issue

Also, the temperatures are going to fluctuate here. Right now it's 70, the low is gonna be 50, tomorrow it's going to be 63, with a low of 49. And again on saturday, then on sunday, it's going to be like today. I have a heating pad, some insulation, and cardboard/plastic wrap to protect the...

    Vacation issue

So, my family has decided to leave ONE day early to go on vacation. I was planning on my plants to sprout tomorrow, and we're leaving tonight. So, the thing I need to know is what do I do? I have 4 plants in paper cups. Been in there 3 days, and should sprout tomorrow-ish. I don't know how...

    Nettle Tea

I watched a video on making Nettle Tea. So, being the curious person I am, I grabbed a bunch of different leaves and grasses, even some dog poop and coffee grounds and I'm letting it brew in my garage for a week or so, stirring everyday, to see how the plant food comes out.

    Doing a little germination test

If I don't get any positive results, I'll use your method, Drake, and hopefully that will work.

    Doing a little germination test

Yeah, me starting out I lost so many seeds. Like at least 15. It was crazy. So, I'm thinking just planting it in soil as nature intended is the best route to go. God, I'm so excited! Once I see that first sprout, I'm gonna party xD

    Doing a little germination test

So, I germinated 3 seeds in water for 24 hours. Then I put them into soil with the small taproot facing down. How long normally will it take to sprout if planted 1/4 inch down? I don't know the strain, the guy I got the seeds from didn't know... And I also planted 3 seeds without soaking...

When can I start "Training" my plant?

I have a few seeds that just got done germinating, so I planted them in a small cup until they sprout. But, I am in a limited space. So, I want to know, at what age could I start training the plant?

Growing in the Garage in the Winter

So, I have everything pretty much ready to go. But I don't have a heating pad. It has been lost. I don't know of any substitutes for a heating pad, so I'm gonna have to save up for a new one, try to find the old one, or if there is a substitute, I could use that.

Growing in the Garage in the Winter

Thanks. Also, how deep does soil need to be for growing a plant? Like, what is the shallowest you can use, and still get decent bud?

Growing in the Garage in the Winter

This is such a great forum. I don't think I've received this much help from any site community before this fast. I appreciate all of it. xD After I put the insulation in, I could line that with aluminum foil and that'd retain a lot more heat too. I'll keep that in mind. (Watering with warm...

Growing in the Garage in the Winter

I'm only doing one plant at the moment. 2 I don't think would be viable in the space. But I'm glad to see my research on how to grow is paying off. I've spent the better part of the last month or so reading and watching videos on how to grow and set it up. Hahaha, this should be fun. It's...

Growing in the Garage in the Winter

See, if I used that heater, it would use up a lot of electricity because the garage itself is not insulated. But, I could have a small little radiator/heater near the closet, but I'd have to manually shut it off and turn it on all the time.

Growing in the Garage in the Winter

Yeah, I can pull that off. It closes tightly, and the insulation will stop any excess light from entering.
