I'll keep the lights on 24/0 until I can get a timer. Just so I can make the times right when I want them. They are 10 bucks at the nearest home depot, so I'll just go get one soon.

I need the light on at night anyways. Because it's gonna get cold here. I'll get some cash and buy one. That way even during vegging I can be more timely.

Well, I don't know if this will affect the plants much, but when I start to flower, I could just switch the time to 7:00 AM and 7:00pm. Would that be bad switching the time like that? O.o How much do timers cost?

Tomorrow after school, I will come home and turn off the lights at 3:00. Then at 9:00, I'll just turn em' back on so they can stay warm at night :D

After I finish my first grow, I might do a small experiment on this.

Fresh as in how fresh? How many days after do you switch to 18/6?

I want to know if everyone reaches a consensus on that.

So, I've gotten mixed answers concerning the light schedule. Is it better to leave the lights on 24/0 or 18/6. I'm sure a few other noobs would appreciate this information too.

10/3/11 Update Today, I replaced my lighting "holder" (it was a block of wood that could hold 1 light clamp) with one that could hold a max of four. I added another light clamp so currently there are 2 cfl's for my plant. I also raised the pot closer to the lights. Hopefully, I'll see...

Yeah, but that's all I have at the moment. I'll work on getting at least another light in there. It's an unknown strain, so I'll add that in there. I'm working on getting a camera to take some pictures.

Well, I think I did. They are about 4 days old from sprouting, and no fan leaves yet. I put them in a 5 gallon bucket, but I don't know if that will kill them now q.q Please, help me...

hahaha, It'll be disappointing if I don't get any females out of the 4. When I see that there are more than 2 females, can I just leave them in the same pot? Or should I attempt to find a second place to grow the other?

So, I have 4 sprouts as of right now. I picked the greenest, most healthy looking one and planted into a 3 gallon bucket. Now, I don't know what to do with the other 3. Because what if the one I have turns out to be a male? I need to know what to do.

It's a heating pad, not a seedling pad though.
