Sounds like you need to get a 50 gallon holding tank and a float valve. keep it topped off and you will have the 40 gallons of RO you need.

True! But to get a kilo plant indoors how long do you think it should be veged first? ANd it's easier to automate watering/feeding indoors for smaller pots. Good luck.

I've run a 12x6 room, I used 4' x 12' as the flower area. I ran 3 x 1000w hps vented and the room vented. I also had a dehumidifier, everything connected to a controller. Ran beautifully no problems at all.

It's not so easy to answer. I'd need more info about your setup and grow plans. If your doing a SOG then I would think that you can get away with using floros. But if you veg for any length of time then you'll be better off using the MH. You'll get a better plant to start with.
