don't water till it's light. Lift it up, if it feels light then water. don't use the meter. also, oscillating fans work better. If you must use the meter then test the bottom of the container push teh meter as far as you can.

I am going to reuse the 200 gallon smart pots and roots pots(cheaper) that I have. I'm sure they are overkill but I like them and they worked great. I use it as a root soak durring transplant and for the first watering a few days later. Maybe once more early on. I don't see a need after that if your not using any miteicides or fugicides in the soil.

How did you test the soil? I'd probably leave it be and adjust the feeding pH. You can always add hydrated or dolomite lime to raise the pH if you feel like you need to.

I always use an oz per stick of butter and it turns out pretty good. No complants. :)

You can trasnplant just fine. The plants will not make good use of the extra room at this point but watering will be easyer.

Obviously rainwater is fine to use growing outdoors. Indoor growing is a bit different as you know. If you don't keep things clean and you keep brining things form the outside in, your asking for more trouble. That's all I'm saying. Have you ever had spider mites, fungus gnats, thrips, whitefly...

How's it going with them shrooms?

I use PBP Grow and PBP Bloom indoors at full strength. Only my purple kush has any trouble keeping up with it. I do the 50/50 transition for two weeks. It seems that I could use a flush at 30days into flower though.

The pH liquids are a must for the meter. T-5's are great for cloning and small veging plants. reduced heat and plenty of light when used close to the plants. Once you know your water and fert pH, there is no need to use the meter with soil. Soil buffers nicely as long as things aren't wat...
