Many growers keep the light on 24hrs during the veg state so yes, you can. HPS is good to use, as long as it is far enough from the sprouts not to burn them and if you have proper ventilation.

I read about this and decided to give it a try. I had my plants flowering 12/12 for about 4 weeks and then switched to 11/13 for a week and then started 10/13 a few days ago to simulate the upcoming fall season. I can tell you, im noticing a difference already. The buds are starting to swell up...

I've found lady buys have a liking to my plants. I think they help kill off some of the other nasty things that can ruin my crop. I've read up on reducing the light schedule gradually throughout the grow. I'm gonna be running 11 hours instead of 12 and then start 10 hours next week to simulate...

I have a northern lights plant i started under 12/12 that's close to a month old and showing sex already. It's about 2" and was wondering which nutes to use at this point in time? Should i go on and start with N rich nutes or go straight to using the flowering nutes? any help would be great. Thanks!

Ahh found a few spidermite colonies living on the NL. i thoroughly inspected the entire plant as best i could and scraped them off. also applied soapy water in a spray bottle on infected areas. i hope they clear out before harvest time...

The days are just flyin by lol These next few weeks im hoping to see an explosion of buds! Crystals have formed already all over the leaves surrounding the bud sites. just waiting for the girls to fill out and put on more weight. :mrgreen::mrgreen:
