I think i read somewhere that the rule of thumb would be 1000 watts per bedroom? correct me if im wrong

+1 ^ A good starting point, would be 8 inches Try that, then if it's to hot, try 10 inches, then 1ft, so forth. I think a safe bet would be 10-12 inches. Good luck!

I would do: 4X4 Flower area - 1000 watt HPS 4X4 Veg area - 1000 watt MH 2X4 mother area - H/O Flouro's ABOVE mother area, do the clone set up. 12"X4 feet, on a shelf - Use an H/O Flouro Thats how I would do it, if you could budget the amount for the lighting. Just my .02 Peace! n00bgr0wer
