Thanks! I vegged them too long and ended up running out of height in my tent so I converted the room into a growroom which seemed to work out in the end.
Wow monstrous, thanks for the compliment! No, what you said makes perfect sense. You still want to give them grow nutrients during flower just less of it. I've been using half the dosage on all nutes to be safe and I heard you dont really need to flush them in soil when doing that.
I'm also...
Hey Logan, since were on the subject I'm using fox farms nutes trio and according to the fox farm feeding schedule it says to use grow big through the flowering cycle. Should I be using grow big during flowering?
I would think that you wouldnt because it's a veg nute, like you said veg nutes...
Ya I was going to say possible nute burn too but this is my first time growing so I thought I would leave it too more experienced growers. From what it sounds like though doesn't sound like nute burn. Nute burn usually effects the lower leaves first. Ya keep us updated on pics so we could maybe...
It's hard to tell from your pics. We are 1 day apart, mine are 3 weeks 6 days from flip you can check mine out and judge for yourself. I dont want to post them on here and derail your thread.
Hi fellow growers, just wanted some input on how you think my flowers are doing. This is my very first grow and they are 3 weeks 6 days since flipping to 12/12.
Also do you think they need some defoliating or are they good the way they are and should be untouched. Any input would be greatly...
I have mine during flowering right now at 75-80 day and 60-65 night with 45-55 rh humidity but I'm growing almost pure indicas. You want colder temps at night and rule of thumb is no more than a 15 degree gap between night and day temps.
Ya that's some good advice, I have since done that to my indoor crop even though they had no problems. Can this be fixed though? They look really bad, it seems like some of the buds which barely got started are rotting.
How could it be an iron deficiency if it happened right after I gave it a big dose of nutrients? It literally happened right after I fed them, well 24 hours later.
Can someone that is knowledgeable with nutrient burn please help me. My outdoor plants which were doing great all of the sudden in one day were burned with too much nutrients. I gave them what I always did which is the fox farm trio plus open sesame since they were in early stages of flowering...
Ya your absolutely right. I was talking about fan leaves on the bottom that are part of the undergrowth and certainly not removing all of them. Just to clean up the bottom a little and get some good airflow on the bottom end. I know when I cleaned it up last time it got rid if all the bugs I had...
Yeah I hear what your saying, I've already defoliated twice but pretty minimal. I'll probably just stick to minimal defoliation under growth in the future and nothing too drastic. I just wanted to make sure they dont choke from being overcrowded. Like always you get different opinions, some say...
The only part I saw that's says when not to defoliate is when you have a thin leggy sativa but mine are thick bushy indicas. What part are you referring to when not to defoliate? It's a good thing I read your post when I did because I was minutes from defoliating my plants. It makes sense since...
Thanks for that link, I read the whole thing and it really helped me understand how to defoliage properly without removing bud sites. Yes I do have lots of led light but only one 1000 watt mh/hps and I want them all to get coverage from the hid not just the led so I'm not sure that would cover...
Ya they are even bigger now. I just turned on the lights today after 36 hours of darkness and I couldn't believe how much bigger they got. I mean they look great but your right they are really crowded and I also worry about height. The biggest one is 21 inches and the average is about 18-19...
Yep today is flower day, they are getting 36 hours of darkness which works out perfect with the heat wave were having in cali. I'm going to leave the metal halide on with the led for 2 weeks before switching to hps to prevent stretch.
Ooh I love gods gift, very good strain for pain. I'll be sure to ask you for the ins and outs of them when I grow gg next time and good luck with your grow I hope it turns out dank!
