    Seed From Mouse Food?

You could grow it as an exercise to practice growing the plant, so you don't waste any money making rookie mistakes and killing plants from expensive seeds. Don't expect to get anything worth smoking from them though!

    Cooling Math is screwed up.

What temperature is the intake? Where is the exhausted air going to? It needs to be well away from where the air is entering the box, into another room or preferably outside. What type of fan is it? A lot of axial fans boast impressive cfm ratings for the price, but that is free air movement...

    Cooling issues

You've got it, hot air out at the top, cool air will come in through a hole near the bottom. Try to have them on opposite sides of the room for optimum airflow. As for the cooltube, give it it's own cool air intake if possible, from outside the room, then have a fan sucking through the cooltube...

To Suck or Blow, that is the inline fan question

Booster fans are easily defeated by more than a couple of feet of perfectly straight ducting. A better bet is a centrifugal, or vortex fan, capable of exhausting the volume of the room 2-3 times a minute if using hid lighting. For more info go here...

    My new grow room

Very nice indeed! It's unfortunately rare to see someone such as yourself who figures everything out beforehand, then does a truly professional job of constructing it. In pic 4, is that flexi dryer ducting I see running up to the ceiling? I would have thought that on such a thorough build as...

    My new grow room

Kinda like me, I always try to over-engineer everything I build just to be safe, it's better than having to build something twice because it wasn't good enough the first time. That ventilation guide seems a good one, although I was always told to exhaust the volume of air 2-3 times a minute...

When can i feed my seedlings nutes ????

Is the attic not ventilated? Most that I have been in have some way for air to get in one end and out the other, either through the wall or through a tile vent. Have you tried running the light cycle at night? That really helped me drop my temps. Does the growspace take up the whole attic? If...

    Cooling issues

Do you have a fan venting out of the room or are you just relying on the ac? How hot are the ambient temps? Check out this on ventilation https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=581

going to hps mh how manny watts

Optimum amounts of lighting are between 7-10,000 lumens per sq ft. You have about 19 sq ft with a 5.5x3.5, so to properly light it you would need between 133,000 and 190,000 lumens. A good 600 hps will poot out in the area of 90,000 lumens, whereas a 400 is more like 50,000, so I'd say 600...

How bad did I screw up?

It'll be ok, we've all been there. Might delay your harvest by a few days, nothing major at this early stage, but be careful not to burn the buds as they get bigger. Upward growth will all but cease in the next week or two anyway, after that you hardly have to raise the light.

rare seedling 3 cotyledons 3 leafs

It's just a genetic mutation, not uncommon. You might find that it will grow sets of three nodes instead of pairs to begin with, and then start alternating above the 5th-6th node like normal. It might make the bottom of the plant more bushy, which can be good and bad. Good because it means more...

    damn theives

If you can get hold of some of that indelible dye they use in money cases, put that in the drawer/cupboard/wherever you keep your stash so that it goes off when the door is opened, when a container is picked up whatever. That stuff stays on skin for days, if not weeks. There is no way they could...

Is this enough lights for flower?

You didn't mention what colour temperature your bulbs are. For flowering you really want 2700k, and 6500k for veg. A mixture is good, say 2-3 2700k to every 1 6500k for flower and vice versa for veg.

How tall can they get outdoors?

Yeah, they can get pretty fucking big, especially if they have an indoor veg period during winter and early spring. Fdd2blk grows some monster plants in his backyard, and doesn't use anything more than basic nutrients. Check out this thread...

    first time pc grow

21" is a real short height to grow in. Most indica strains with an 8-9 week flowering period can be made to grow very short by giving them 12/12 from seed or clone, then if it starts to get too tall, gently bend the top of the plant over and tie it to the base of the stem, which should slow the...

    First time, what now?

Ah right, I see. It just sounded like you were growing in your parents yard! Hell if I had 14 secluded acres I'd struggle to stop myself planting a shitload of bagseed just to see what happened, and try to learn as much as possible from it. But hey, you know your circumstances better than me...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

If it's an actual hps or mh, not some incandescent masquerading as a growlight, then you can't run it straight from the socket with no ballast, it will just trip the breaker, blow a fuse or melt a wire, whichever is the weakest link. These type of bulbs have a negative resistance characteristic...

    growing myth

As I understand it, trichomes are produced by the plant as it's form of sunblock, to protect it from uvb, not to deter or protect itself from predators, so the theory doesn't stand up. If you wanna increase resin production, put a uvb light in your flowering room, but only run it for 3-4 hours...

    watering

It's more harmful to overwater the plant than to underwater. Doing it that way will help you work out when you water so that they get it just before they need it, rather than waiting for the leaves to actually droop. It won't do much harm, but every little helps.
