for one thing, i would say the rockwool cubes are way too big.

First, you need to be sure. on the back of the leaves, do you see tiny black dots, right where the holes are? if so, knock them off onto a piece of white paper and look under a microscope at them. they arent hard to miss. look like something out of a horror movie at 100X

Look up VPD (vapour pressure deficit) to find out more about rh in veg. Also, the idea that the tree will draw the mildew away is daft.. It's like sitting next to someone with influenza thinking it will stop you getting it. Finally, look up using milk to cure PM.

In a single loft grow I've hit temps of 35 and 105f. Still pulled 16 oz from a 600w.

The type of fan speed controller you want is called a variac. Not cheap. Also, your filter shouldn't be on the floor. It should be as high up as possible (heat rises).

I don't go to that extreme but since going over to Canna Aqua, I've had so much less worries with pH. I set it when I change res, re-set after 24 hrs and it just stays there.

I have an air pump for the res algae etc but run F&D, every 4 hrs with tiny hydroton netpots and roots hanging in air. This is kind of an experiment. Hybrid DWC/F&D I guess.
