i would ditch that soil then.... you want a nice soil with nutes lots of perlite for drainage and air you don't want the soil to stay wet/moist for a week... you will have problems root rot etc you wanna run water threw the pot till it leaks out the drain holes depending on your temp and...

i see some heat stress on the smaller one under water on the 2ed from last pic PH flux for the 4th pic and a Potassium def so get your PH undercheck and stable get your nutes correct ive never grown hydro so im used to soil take my advice with a pinch of salt
