Another thing I learned about tree's and cannabis is when you transplant you should keep your root flare at the surface with the top barely exposed, since the roots will only grow down this gives your roots more room to grow and prevents the flare from being too moist.

I actually stopped using the dome altogether. I dip the clones in water for a little while and put them straight into the coco cups. They are rooting much faster and aren't getting dehydrated like they were when I was using the rooting gel. Plants are so weird, the less you do the better they do.

Thank you, both methods work, but as stated there are countless methods that do work. If water doesn't work simply try another until you fond a method that suits you.
