Yes you can veg longer, like your shop guy said you can always cut roots around drain. Just remember the 2-3 times expansion that happens in flower. I say flower personally. :bigjoint:

Oh and the film is also in the tray. I cleaned and now today is first time running nutes again so i will update if the film persists.

Im @ 20 % nutrient strength. For the last 5 days I ran only water then magical on last 2. Upped watering to 6 times a day for 10 mins each time. The film is rather slimy but the roots look overall healthy. Very aggressive growth considering the age. I will post up new pics with this post...

The hydroton was well rinsed and prepared before starting. I do not have a ppm meter yet, but it states with this mix the ppm is 300 and an ec of .5. I do have a very small air stone, I am upgrading soon though.

Ok so my babies are 16 days old today, Goat Cheese strain. Things were going well until a few days ago. The leave tips are burned, there was also a reddish film inside the resevior also. No light gets into the res, well very little. Is this from the Nutrients possibly? I flushed for 3 days...
