Never tried to root a branch in flower, If it was me back to Veg lighting, did you make a new clean cut @ node? For future ref just tape them up they will heal

Man that sucks I break branches all the time (stoned,clumsy just not that graceful) but I have always just taped them up w/splint if needed and they heal right up. Might be a little hard to root that branch being in flower Good Luck
