Also, if it's 58% now just wait until the plants are flowering with buds full of water and plenty of water in the soil. You'll be in the 60%+ range and that's when a lot of problems can begin with mildew & mold.
IMO you need to get a handle on your humidity or you will face a long / difficult...
For starters, not all strains respond well to being topped. I don't think that's your issue though.
It would help to know what strain(s) you're growing.
Some folks might disagree but in my personal experience high humidity can cause leaves to do exactly what I see in your picture. Why is it...
This is the only issue you face with vegging for an extended period of time.
In fact, a more established plant will have less issues over time as it becomes stronger and better able to defend itself from bugs, mold, mildew, etc..
SOG?
Get rid of any bud sites that aren't getting light. Push your energy up to the top of the plant. On a plant whose colas reach over 6 feet I usually don't even have a branch for the first 12-16 inches. Then, no budding sites until about halfway up the plant.
Why? Because a huge plant with...
Correct! Most of the stuff people mention when they argue for flushing is actually curing. White ash, sparks from the bud, smoothness, etc...
Your plant isn't drinking fertilizer. Do some research on how plants absorb the nutrients they need and exactly what they do with them.
100% agree. I have chopped down plants with fully mature seeds that went straight into my seed bank.
Immature bud is good for making hash. Your plant(s) are not ready to harvest.
The droopy plant looks to be the tallest, no? Perhaps it's too hot up top for her. If the bottom leaves are reaching while the top is droopy it's usually a heat or light stress thing (in my experience).
The temperature is in the mid 70s today. The plant is a Kush. 14 inches tall in a 5 gallon bucket. She is not over or underwatered.
I moved her outside about 2 hours ago. She is in a shady spot. She is now drooping heavily. The top stem is droopy as well as the ends of some new stems.
Thoughts?
So I will have a little extra space in my flower room during my next crop. Can anybody think of a reason why I should't put a couple Jalapeno plants in there?
Hey all,
So I've got this room. It's about 17 x 7 x 7. I have proper intake and outake. I never have heat issues in the Winter but with the Summer months it's becoming a problem.
Right now I have my 1k MH on one side and 4x50watt T5 on the other side. Vegging of course. My temps are in the...
So far so good.. There are still shoots coming out of the buds every day and I continue to cut them off but no hermie activity. After the previous watering the buds swelled up overnight right on schedule. Gonna be some funky looking nugs in the jar but I think I'm going to make it out of this.
