Lugging water around might be a good option if you only have a plant or two. What if you have 30 or 40 plants?

I asked the same question the other day. A friend of min runs an ebb and flow system with coco medium. He waters twice with lights on and once when the lights go out. I have a drip system and water right at lights on. The way I understand it root growth occurs with lights out...

Dude I have 4 1000watt hps and they work fine.. My buddy uses them in combination with chains because he has 9 foot ceilings. Dont your hoods have metal hangers?

I dont have to be in the room to water. So Maybe right before lights out I can give them a lil drink. Im not sure though.
