Alright, and just one would just be sufficient in a 6x3 for one plant? Or do you think Í could support 2 or 3? I don't mind growing just one, like I said in a previous post, I'm not doing this to be a drug lord, I just find it a nice hobby.

Open the windows in the basement and keep constant air moving.. Like Bwpz said, and it really does work, hang dry towels.

I'm using CFL's now. I have a 2x60 watt, which is giving me only 2600 lumens, and 40watt Fluorescent on one plant. Hope to move up to a HPS before it gets taller :)

So far in my journey, I find it so much more fun and hobby like to water, and turn the lights on and off yourself. I think it kinda defeats the indoor growing purpose if machines do most everything for you.

Get a timer... cheap, easy, and less stress on the plants.

I was told to keep air moving in the room, but not directly on them. It was made apparent to me that if the fan is blowing directly on them, they will focus on making stronger stems to resist the wind instead of growing in height; which isn't exactly what I want. Is this not correct?

For the veging state, do the lights stay continuous or 18:6?

When you say 3 - 8 days old, do you mean from the time it left the germinating period, because mine looks nothing like that and its 3 days old in the germinating stage.
