Today is day 61. Even with fighting gnats and small pots, they're gonna make it alright. Both Apple of Eden are basically done. The back one only has maybe 5% amber, the front is at least 10%. The 2 Bramley Beast on the right are a week or so away. The back one has a skunky, citrusy smell. I'm...

    Fungus gnat experiment #569

I feel your pain dude. The first time I tried top watering over the pantyhose, the water ran straight off. Maybe a few drops got through. I now press my hand on top to make them touch the soil, and it soaks the water up. It's been interesting with the net up because I can't move/spin them like...

    Fungus gnat experiment #569

I have put a deal of thought to the pantyhose. My wife's pair was really to small and had to be stretched tight to fit over a 3g pot. A couple runs developed too. I went and bought some 'big gal' pantyhose that would probably take a 5g fabric pot lol. These things are not even stretched out and...

That's a nice looking plant. Another strain I'm wanting to try. I wish I had a better camera. Autos have came so far in the last 2-3 years. I like being able to run so many different cultivars in such a short time. I still like running my photos too though. I'm a cannabis fan. I don't care...

Thanks. She is pulling a pretty fade. I stopped feeding last week so they look rough, but, I like the taste after they stress late. Not too bad I guess for a seed from a free 6pk. There may be breeders with stronger stuff. I just haven't had a chance to try those guys yet. I can honestly say...

This 1 Bramley Beast has fought through the gnats and me and is only a week or 2 from done. It's got a great smell. I'm hoping as frosty as it is that the buzz is great too. Next run is in 5g tall buckets. I'm going to fog the empty room first to kill anything left alive. Screw these tiny gnat...

The only GG I've gotten a harvest from was autoflowers. A few had a good smell and a couple had a decent buzz. Everybody else loved them but I am more of an Indica buzz guy. I also have some Space Monkey seeds. Wookie 15 x Gorilla Glue. Supposed to be pretty heavy Indica. I hope for a good...

To a one, every example of that cultivar I've seen has been nice looking. I'm surprised to hear the potency is missing as several on here have named theirs some of their favorite smoke. Eh, phenos. You must have gotten a weak one. I wouldn't give up on it if you have more seeds. The next one...

Do yall ever wish these exotic strains fought off insects, mold and mistreatment like those old bagseed strains we used to get? I got Mexican brickweed seeds that I grew in crappy grocery store soil with Miracle Grow for food and two 4 foot fluorescent tubes with a halogen landscaping light...

Input welcome, old dog new tricks.

Yeah I bought the cheapo timer. I only need it for 12/12. I had to take the 1st one I got back because it didn't work. I am wanting to start his Space Monkey strain. I never expected my cloning method to be successful, but it's been working. A couple more weeks and my scrog plants will get the...

I will try that when they return. I'm not even saying 'if' because with soil they're a forgone conclusion eventually. But, the pantyhose have vanished them. I'm still spraying the topsoil with peroxide solution every 5 days and, it's working.

Apparently, this is what $10 gets you at Lowe's hardware lol. It works though. It's been a couple weeks for the HP cuttings. Another week or so and I'm transplanting up. I'm going to try to keep this line going awhile. Either all of this strain rocks or I got lucky, but, this pheno is amazing...

Net is up. I'm officially a scrogger. I've bit of work to do spreading the canopy out, but, at least it's up. I shook everything up hard and saw no gnats anywhere. These plants are very bushy. I can't wait to see what happens after another week or 2

    Fungus gnat experiment #569

Just keep digging dude.....I didn't think I'd even get this far. I'm thinking the couple I found the other day crawled out. I went over everything multiple times before finding that tiny hole. I'm thinking that even if you can't completely seal the hole, then wrapping the yellow tape around the...

Net arrives today. The gnats are gone again. These plants are soo much healthier to this point than last time. I'm not completely on the mark with the amendments, but, that's why soil is my medium. I looked this morning at the small cluster of pistils on top and was kinda shocked to see...

    Fungus gnat experiment #569

I found the leaks where the pantyhose meets the stem and cinched a pipe cleaner around that part. This would be a problem if I weren't adjusting it every other week when I open the top to topdress. I've seen zero gnats since I amended the top.

I just want to say that if you guys would make these things available in 1, 3, 5 and 10 gallon size so we could just pull them up and cinch them and offer them at a reasonable price, then, I would buy them. Sure, I can hack something up like pantyhose that serves the same purpose, but my grow...
