Night Cycle vs. Night Vision Security Cameras

I use the cameras more for observation than security. With the cameras I can check the humidity, temps, the way the circulatory fans are operating and affecting the girls, and the plant's growth without having to physically go into the room. With the night vision I can keep record of both day...

Infrared Security Camera vs. Night Cycle...Please Help

I will have to check some of the other cameras around the house to see if they illuminate enough for me to see with them. They're not bright like lets say an exit sign. For example, if you walk into my garage with the lights off you would not notice the camera unless you know where to look. The...

Night Cycle vs. Night Vision Security Cameras

I've installed security cameras into my grow room, and they're equipped with infrared l.e.d.'s for night vision. Will the infrared l.e.d.'s affect my night cycle? If you're not familiar with the l.e.d.'s once the light goes out you can visibly see the red ring of lights around...

Infrared Security Camera vs. Night Cycle...Please Help

Thanks for your thoughts. It's mostly for me to be able to keep watch over my ladies when I'm away from the nursery, and make sure the temps, humidity, and circulation fans are within the proper parameters without having to physically go into the room.

    having problems with humidity

i recently had the same problem. try investing in a cool mist humidifier. It worked for me. It adds about 10-20% to your humidity. You can find one at your local drug store. Make sure it's the COOL MIST HUMIDIFIER, because they also sell a warm mist humidifier. It should run you no more than...

    Help!!! Heat Problem!!!

I have 12 lights above, and 6 lights along the side and under neath the canopy. I decided to use the CFLs instead of a HID system just to see what all the excitement is about using CFLs. It's more of an experiment than anything else. I've always grown outside without any unneeded disturbances...

    Help!!! Heat Problem!!!

nice set-up. After exhausting all my varibles in this experiment I've decided to relocate my project. It's funny that you put this picture up too, because my new area looks kind of like this. I built it using pvc tubes for the frame and then cover it using blk/wht poly paper. I will put up some...

    Help!! Heat Problem!!

Thanks for the insight. When your room remains around 92F, what is your humidty like? Are you using a drip system? If so, can you give me some suggestions on how your setup looks? Any Pics?

    Help!! Heat Problem!!

My measurements are 2x2x4. I thought my cfm would've been good for this small space, but now I know better. Like everything else in life, we live and we learn. I should be home in a few hours so I will put up some of the pics then. I'm seriously thinking about relocating my grow area

    Help!! Heat Problem!!

I will keep your suggestion on the bigger fan in mind. If I don't get any positive result out of this project by this weekend I will try that option.

I'm using a 4" Duct fan as my intake, and another as my exhaust, and a 14" tower fan as my circulatory fan.

    Help!! Heat Problem!!

The air is being exhausted into the adjoining room. I plan on using surround lighting using an idea that I've seen by another grower on here that had a successful grow using them. (Pics will be up later on today once I get home, and create my grow journal...I'll make sure and leave the link on...

    Help!! Heat Problem!!

***UPDATE*** I bought a cool mist humidifier today. This morning I checked in the room (lights off) and the temperature was 76F with a humidity of 55% prior to using the mist and turning on the exhaust fan. I ran the humidifier for about an hour before cutting on the lights and the exhaust...

    Help!! Heat Problem!!

I'm going to be growing in Fox Farm's Happy Frog Organic Soil. The temp is stabilizing around mid to lower 90's. I'm going to buy a humidifier tomorrow and see if that will increase my humidity. I just want to make sure that I'm not going to be growing in vain if I can't get the temps back into...

    Help!! Heat Problem!!

LMAO...so you're a RIU Rebel  I'm looking online to see if I can get a cool mist humidifier shipped to me. I have much respect for everyone that grow inside. Which growing method do you suggest with CFL? SOG, SCROG, etc. It must be completely organic.

    Help!! Heat Problem!!

You're the second person to mention the cool mist system. I'm looking for one now. Do you have any suggestion where I can find one? So what you're saying is even though my temps seem to stabilize right now in the mid-90's, that if I keep my humidity high it will be okay? I ask because I don't...
