50w/sq ft is ideal... do not run the amount of wattage per sq/ft that i do unless you are ready to experience some harsh lessons in growing! it was not an easy climb to reach a stable enviroment with that kind of wattage in my 60sq ft room... i use 2ton of A/C... gets expensive quick.

the room itself is 6x9.5... my growing bench is 4x9.5(approx 38sqft) which puts my wattage at approx 80w/sqft. i run 21 plants each run!
