What does white widow yeild? please read/help!!!

You can't necessarily go by the figures they give you at seedbanks. Estimating a specific person's yield is impossible to do unless you know all the conditions the plants are being grown under (lights, humidity, temps, ventilation, soil, nutrients, the containers used, the person's experience...

is there such a thing as too much light?

I think farmers use those for breeding chicks etc. Not sure what else they're used for ... anyway, maybe you can sell them to a farmer. :~) Incidentally, cool is not a bad thing, as long as you stay above 70, it's actually better. No spider mites and potentially more females.

    Reflective paints

Well, I don't know. I'd never heard of it before. I use flat white paint and I have healthy plants so ... I just go with that. I'm always looking for improvements, but, like you, I'd like to hear someone's experience first. Anyone tried this paint?

    Let's talk about watering techniques

I check my plants twice a day, minimum, and keep an eye on the ones that are close to drying out. Once I'm sure a plant is totally dry, I water it then. Sometimes I'll leave it 'till the next day, but usually I'll water it as soon as I'm positive it's dry. (Note that, if I have any doubt about...

    I have a shrooms/acid question

So be it. I knew when I wrote it that many people would question those experiences. I would just ask you to remember that, just because something hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it couldn't happen, or hasn't happened to someone else. Almost all of my experiences were exactly as you...

    First time LSD user

To repeat a point that may have been missed, if you happen to get very strong acid (as I did) you CAN'T control your mind. It's not a matter of being 'weak' or a person that 'can't do drugs.' The acid takes over completely - you BELIEVE what is happening is real and therefore there is nothing...

    First time LSD user

I may have overdid it in my posts, but I was hell-bent on making my point. Most of the acid I did was no big deal, weak shit, but every now and then we would get something scary powerful - and that, is where the problem lies. Anyone who has done a hit like the one that did me in will tell you...

    Let's talk about watering techniques

The way you are watering is what a lot of beginners do, but trust me, it's not a good idea. The roots are not damaged nor do they die from the soil drying out. On the contrary, this is a very natural way for plants to grow; when there is no water available, the roots go in search of it. If...

At 18", what height should i begin 12/12 light?

Are you talking about this comment I made? "Your fluoros are useless for blooming as the light doesn't penetrate very far so you can put those away now." If so, I stand by it. I'm not saying that fluorescent light isn't good for growing, but rather, fluoros are useless for flowering because at...

    Reflective paints

I agree with rkm. The heat repellent thing is a detriment, not a good thing. Unless you're going to put up mylar or something, stick to flat white paint. There's a reflectivity chart (can't remember where) that shows flat white right near the top of the list. Mylar beats it, but not much else.

Absolutely and positively without a doubt - not. With a family history of mental illness/disorders plus the fact that you are questioning your own thoughts, taking acid is a bad idea for you. Don't take the chance. My opinion.

    I have a shrooms/acid question

I just want to add ... to explain heavy acid a little better, the difference between it and say, pot, or most other drugs, is that, with the other drugs you know why the effects are happening. They are happening because you took the drug and can rationalize it that way. With acid (or at least...

    I have a shrooms/acid question

For what it's worth ... I'm much older than most here and my advice would be to stay as far away from acid as you can get. I have no idea what it's like these days, but I used to do it in the seventies and it was pretty heavy shit then. I was an acid freak - absolutely loved it; one night...

1st timer looking for some feedback

flganji, I gotta be honest, that first picture there - I've never seen a plant that looks that bad. How tall is that thing, and what are you using for a setup?

is there such a thing as too much light?

I'm going to chime in on the heat lamps also ... bad idea! The only problem with a ton of light is that usually you get a ton of heat. Make sure you have amazing ventilation/air circulation when using lots of lights. But heat lamps? Why? Bad idea indeed.

    Let's talk about watering techniques

Watering basics are pretty straight-forward; it's a shame many beginners don't follow them. Once you have 'real' plants going, the best way to water is the soak and dry method. Before watering, wait until the soil is absolutely, completely dry. If there is even a small amount of moisture in...

At 18", what height should i begin 12/12 light?

I should have added ... when I said total darkness wasn't absolutely critical, I didn't mean to imply that some light was okay, I meant that VERY LITTLE light wouldn't affect the flowering process too badly. It still needs to be close to total darkness or the plant is unlikely to bloom, or...

At 18", what height should i begin 12/12 light?

You should flower soon 'cause if it's 18" now you're going to have a pretty large plant when you're done - minimum 36" and possibly 50" even (roughly.) It's also possible that it won't get that big, depending on strain, but 36" is a good guess for a minimum finished height. You can move it...

    Vacuum Sealing

You can vacuum seal pot. Vacuum sealing removes all the air and without air, mould cannot grow. When you remove it from the vacuum sealed bag it will be just like it was when you put it in there - freshly harvested, if that was the case. This does not cure it however, it merely preserves it...
