ww to high maybee to long in veg

You wouldn't want it any taller than 4 feet at harvest time with a 400w light, which means, if it's 4 feet now - at 2 weeks into bloom - you'd probably need to cut it in half, down to 2 feet. Even at 4 feet as a finished height a 400w lamp won't be giving the lower branches proper light so, I...

ww to high maybee to long in veg

You can top a plant up to 2 weeks in bloom but that's the max cut-off point for topping. (Personally I'd hate to top at that stage but it can still be done.) You only have 2 choices: top or bend. Take your pick. Either way, keep that light as close as possible without burning to help...

Distance of the light to plants?

With all due respect to say no 2 soap's opinion, 1 foot is about the closest you should put a 400w lamp. The rule is to put your light as close as possible to the plant without causing heat damage. This is almost always no closer than 1 foot, and even then you need good ventilation to make...

    Bikers...what are you riding???

Ahhhhh ... takes me back ... I never owned that bike but I went through a number of bikes in the 70's and early/mid 80s trying this and that, getting faster and faster ... LOL Thanks for the memories.

How often do you water during flowering?

You let them dry for a variety of reasons ... promoting healthy root structure is one, to assist in oxygenation of the soil is another (again, for the roots) ... I don't know that they like to be starved for water because they start to wilt relatively quickly (meaning they no longer have...

How often do you water during flowering?

If the plants are drooping when you water you've waited a little too long. In a nutshell, you should wait until the soil dries out completely, but before the plant starts drooping, to water them. In other words, once the soil is dry, water them as soon as you are able to; try not to let them...

    Vaporization

That's where you're making your mistake: it's not smoke ... it's actually 'smokeless' (or very close to it depending on the vaporizer) which is why it really is much healthier. The whole idea of vaporization is to eliminate the breathing of smoke, which the better ones do an excellent job of...

    10 ft monsters!

If you're possibly 4 weeks into bloom then bending is probably your only option, or at least the best one. I wouldn't cut it at that late stage. Once you get set up with the bend, concentrate your lights on the top part of the plant when the plant gets to the point where there isn't...

guys my first grow and i need some help

Way too much water. As weedyoo mentioned, wait until the containers get close to dry before watering them. (Normally I would say wait until the soil is completely dry, but since these are very young seedlings you can water when the soil is still 'slightly' moist, again, 'slightly' - be patient...

    Are my CFL's wrong kelvin?

Hope I catch you in time for this ... If you're going to Canadian Tire, get ProMix - it's amazing for growing cannabis - quite popular with experienced growers. ProMix HP and ProMix BX are the best choices but I've never seen them at Canadian Tire. They do have ProMix Potting and Seeding Mix...

    Are my CFL's wrong kelvin?

Shook, from everything I've read so far, my first thought was that it might not be a light issue. Baby seedlings don't require much light; for that reason I would suggest that there is another reason for the slow growth. At the same time, to make sure ('cause it's hard to tell from here :-))...

I did my first grow in 1974 so this isn't my first rodeo either. Sure, you're doing great, but you could do better. Believe what you will. Makes no difference to me.

    microwave?

Hmmm ... interesting. So when we burn it to smoke it, the THC is dead? Damn. I though for sure it was working just fine; I must have a wild imagination. Besides that, I prefer my THC to be kicking and screaming anyway ... now what am I gonna do? I'm curious how this brilliant deduction was...

    P.P.P. x Blueberry x Sativa.(Full gro with pics)

You're making an incorrect assumption about buds taking lights and nutes. Those fan leaves are required for proper bud production and are highly valuable, again, required, for this process. It's the leaves that are processing the light ... Snipping them is costing you yield, big time - not to...

    Are my CFL's wrong kelvin?

More info would be helpful. How many plants are you trying to grow with these lights? The 2 week period you're talking about, is that 2 weeks from when they plants appeared above the soil, since you planted seeds or what?

    Growing outdoor.. side lighting???

I guess I should have been more specific ... when you put your plants on the roof to be closer to the sun, you have to get your neighbours to take turns blowing on the plants to keep them cool.
