Yeah I've been thinking about a set up similar so that I can do run off testing easier cause without a elevates screen of some sort it's hard to collect run off with fabric , yet alone I notice the water likes to pool up at the bottom sometimes

That's what I've been using . But honestly I've been noticing weird drying spots . That plastic bucket might be helping hold moisture in the soil. Cause my pot will dry in in as little as two days sometimes destroying micro roots

I've heard a lot of good things about Gaia Green amendments. I like how organics has an allready working system to balance things out . Less nutes have to be added. Less likely to fuck nutes up . But I'm not opposed to your method as well. I'm pretty sure Gaia Green is an organ source as well
