    Coco Growers Unite!

How about the shower flushing to remove salts (ill try to get the water temp right first), then going in with the PH'd RO water before finally using PH'd RO with nutes. Does that sound like a plan or what? ill use the sickest one as guinea pig lol Id rather that than see them all slowly die...

    Coco Growers Unite!

I have a PH runoff of 6.3 in coco and the plants are curling and twisting (although I have only just got the runoff down to 6.3 from 7.0 by potting up and watering heavy with ph 5.0). Pretty sure my tap water is rubbish and I have to use loads of PH down. From listening to lord dangly bits and...

    Phresh or Phat Filter?

No it's not the same company mate. They changed their name due to copyright issues, it says so on their website. It also says Rhino filters are the best in the world because of the quality of carbon used as opposed to cheaper copys. http://www.rhinofilter.com/

    Phresh or Phat Filter?

Phat filters are now called Rhino filters. Anything for sale now named as a phat filter is a cheap copy. This is why Phat Filters changed their name to Rhino filters, it says this on the piece of paper that came with my Rhino filter. Rhino filters are supposedly the very best available.

    Coco Growers Unite!

Does not really matter, but will raise humidity and possibly attract bugs so it's cleaner to empty them.

    The Equalizer vs. Super Spreaders

Nope, but I intend too. You can supposedly get an adjustawing inches from the canopy with the spreader. Ill be able to see for myself, and see what I prefer pretty soon. It makes sense to me that the spreader makes for a more even distribution of light and heat across the length of the...

    The Equalizer vs. Super Spreaders

Thought that what it was for, for when you have the reflector really low down. Reflects radiant heat.

    The Equalizer vs. Super Spreaders

Maybe it's because the light wing is designed to be able to be adjusted for a wide footprint and then lowered right down over the canopy to keep intensity up. Most hoods are designed for a more focused footprint with the hood higher up which is not much use in some circumstances (the exact...

    The Equalizer vs. Super Spreaders

Yeah and if the performance of the product (reflector) suffers as a result, then people will think it's not such a good performing product and will not buy the product (that is called bad marketing). I do beleive that they have atleast done testing to confirm the benefit. (ie distance from...

    The Equalizer vs. Super Spreaders

Well the Super Spreader that I got came free with the adjust-a-wing reflector in the box. Surely it's a benefit to have if the manufacturer actually puts a free one inside the box. surely it genuinely improves their product or they would not supply one for free.

    Plant Turntables?

Just an idea that I had. But I think youd probably be right, youd end up with branches being damaged etc not good.

    Plant Turntables?

Does anyone think that turntables for plants would be a good alternative to a light mover? Or will this just result in plants having to be too far apart? Could be good for growing trees?

    Coco Growers Unite!

Those drops I were using were way off! Like a whole point way off! God knows how much PH down I was putting in. got the essentials ph pen today. Nute solution is 6.2 after adding nutes to water, thats more like it.

    Coco Growers Unite!

Nice one cheers, I have come to realise that this guide has made me under feed (it may be due to the working out of US gallons to litres though), but this guide did not appear to be working for me. The online custom Canna guide has shown immediate results so far. Although I have taken some of...

    Coco Growers Unite!

Fed them the 6ml last night and they loved it. The headbands even developed a new set of leaves over night and returned to a nice healthy green (took a fair bit of solution to get the runoff ph down though). PH pen is on it's way. My acoustic fans/rhino filter and temp controller turned up...

    Coco Growers Unite!

Yeah no worries, it's all good input. I am just at a point now where I dont know what to do, im not using RO water (is this what you mean by plain water?). I found out that my tap water is 336 ppm so I went onto the canna nutrient calculator that it told me I should be using 3ml each of A+B at...
