Yeah, that's the exact model and website where I bought mine. Very happy with it so far.

Devices to store off-peak (cheap) electricity for on-peak use

My water boiler has a feature which allows it to heat overnight when electricity is cheap, and it got me thinking that it would be a great money-saver (and stealth) way of doing things with respect to growing. However, I'm not very knowledgeable of electric power storage units, so perhaps...

How much power can I use before it becomes suspicious?

I currently run: 180w LED Small 6" fan Low power air pump to supply two bubblers But I'd love to buy an extra 500w LED panel to complete the set-up. I already have a plasma TV which is meant to use some 300-600w whenever it's on, and all my power at home is electricity (no gas). It's...

Quiet. The Neighbors Can Hear You (Sound Control Thread)

I just use an LED panel and I don't have to worry about fans/exhausts and all that stuff that comes with them. Depends how big your operation is, but I've not once had to worry about odour or air flow - I just crack a window and use a plug-in room air freshener. That's growing both autoflowers...

    Grow Tent Needed $100 budget.

I bought mine from this range: http://www.hydrolab-hydroponics.co.uk/ They sell them directly on eBay if you search for the model number you want, although they're in the UK so probably better if you use them as a guide and find somewhere close to you. I bought the 60x60x120cm model for under...

    Pure Power Plant (Nirvana)

Interesting stuff. I have a PPP plant which is just 2.5 weeks from seed, all set to be put in an oxy pot IWS system. Can you guys tell me roughly how high your finished plants were? I have just 120cm of space in my tent, and then the LED needs to be hung etc., so I'm a little worried this...

Switching LED panels - better to stick to one spectrum?

Maybe it's easier to rephrase. ;-) Would it be better to have 90w each of red/orange and the blue/white, or isolate each of those for flowering/veg states? I'm guessing an additional 90w of lights would be better, but then I've read that you don't want red to make them grow too tall etc.

Switching LED panels - better to stick to one spectrum?

I have a 180w switching LED panel which has the function to turn off half the bulbs; giving either a white/blue/UV array, a red/orange set, or both at once. Obviously blue/white/UV is preferable for vegetative growth, but does the red/orange spectrum actually work against the plant? I ask as...

    Best smoke/coffee shops in Amsterdam

I'm off to the Cannabis Cup tomorrow (along with Ajax v Real Madrid on Tues), and wanted to sample some of the coffee shops there. Haven't been since I was a kid, and want to avoid obvious tourists traps, unless they have spectacular gear. ;) I've heard great things about Nepalese...

    I Am A Ravar Baby!

Are you from the USA? Cause in England it's a bit cringey to refer to yourself as a raver. Going to a club and dancing to uptempo music does not a raver make. It's almost like calling yourself a baller/player because you go to an rnb club now and then.

    Led Users Unite!

I'll keep the forums updated with my progress. I'm loving the concept, at least, and they seem to be quite invested in their gear, rather than just selling to make quick profit. My 180w cost just $270 (plus a bit for shipping to the UK), which is more than ample for my 40x40x120cm tent.

    Led Users Unite!

So I've just moved into the LED world for my second grow. Purchased a 180w switching veg/flower CREE LED panel. http://www.hydroponicshut.com/pro-grow-180-watt-led-grow-light.html Installed it today, as my autoflower has just started to get flowers (after almost 8 weeks - no idea why it took...

120w LED lights - how can I gauge the quality?

Just fitted it today. It's flowering time now, but not sure if I want to set the mode to just reds, or reds with white/UV/bit of blue etc. The latter would be in addition to the former. A blend is still best for flowering, above just red, isn't it?

Yeah, I'd be interested in hearing about this too. Any tips? Can I go buy stamps quite easily, then prepare my package to post home and drop it in a local post box?

    Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam

So I'm all set for staying there the whole of next week. Rented out an apartment for four of us, which is really nice and works out at no more than £40/$60pppn I guess one day at the event is enough, right? Any recommendations on decent coffee shops in the city? Last time I went was as a...

120w LED lights - how can I gauge the quality?

hehe, thanks for the info. So I went with this beauty, courtesy off the tip from newworldicon: http://www.hydroponicshut.com/pro-grow-180-watt-led-grow-light.html Including super priority international shipping to the UK it came in at £220, which is pretty sweet considering it can switch...

Hey, liking the option to switch configuration! Thanks. :)

120w LED lights - how can I gauge the quality?

That seems awfully expensive just for a small tent like mine. I had a pretty decent grow just using 3 x 27w CFL, so buying 5 x 170w LED seems way too big an increase, no? At most I'll be growing 3-4 autos.
