Humble Servant's 1000W One Plant Fully Organic Orange Crush SCROG Journal

Daaaaaaaaamn, son!! I'm rocking a single plant under one 1000w and you're pushing frickin' Sherwood Forest under two beastly lights! That's sick that you've got that situation arranged with your friend to get free clones in exchange for vegging them for a minute. I've done similar things out...

Ha! Gives rep to others; discusses own merits with humility in the form of mild self-deprecation--I like your style, sir!

    A few questions for you.

Totally agree with you. I'm actually doing an LST op on a TGA Flav right now. I've got pictures posted on my current grow journal if you want to see how I do it. Simple method using some string and a 12X12 with predrilled holes... Check it out! Here's a link...

Thank you, sincerely. I really appreciate that, especially from someone who has been here for quite some time and knows what he is talking about. Happy growing to you! :bigjoint:

    A few questions for you.

Hey, zabzacon, welcome to the world of growing! You've taken the first step into what might be the best thing you've ever done!! As far as your questions go, I want to start by thanking you for putting them in bold. This will help people like me, who want to help you, find what you are...

Thanks for stopping by and checking things out! Tomorrow I've got bud shots coming from the flower room... :bigjoint:

Possible disaster with soil. Need input asap!!!!

I have used that "Not for use in pots" soil before. I used it on my vegetable garden last year, and not a single plant planted in the 5 pots I had in that soil lasted. It is made to be an amenity to the current soil in your garden outside, not a stand alone potting soil. While I can't attest...

    Horizontal buds!

Totally agree with skunk on this one!! Put some stakes into your pot, right up alongside the branches that are falling over. Twist-tie them into place and they'll be good to go until the end of flower! I have this problem with every strain I have ever grown, actually. Inevitably, the plant...

Need help before it gets worse

Hey, Greenrush, I've had so many young plants do this that I don't even worry about it anymore. I've had this problem in brand new soil, in hydro, you name it... The best I can usually chalk it up to is that the young roots and the young plant are just working out how to best take up...

Anyone help me with a question??

Hey, hunter, even though you are in a greenhouse, I'd hold off on this for a few more weeks. Beginning of March and maybe you can get away with it. I would say beginning of April might be more realistic. I started some plants, as well as some tomatoes, eggplant, and a bunch of flowers in a...

Humble Servant's 1000W One Plant Fully Organic Orange Crush SCROG Journal

It's day 24 of the Crush SCROG. I'm going to hold off on posting pictures of the buds until tomorrow... I just went down and unzipped the tent, though... Wow. That plant is LOVING being in there on its own. It's just eating up the light and organic nutrients!! :bigjoint: On another happy...

    Dried ice?

Hey, kvn, thanks for the questions! I'm glad I'm able to give you some info about these things!! So, as far as I noticed, I did not see the bags releasing "too much" CO2 by any means. If you check out my current grow journal you can see a picture of my flowering room. I grow for personal...

    Dried ice?

These are the CO2 bags I posted the link to just above, kvnbeach. They're called Exhale CO2 bags. Great little product.

    Dried ice?

You are correct, sir! There is a medium on which the fungi feed for up to six months. I recently tossed out some bags, just because they were six months old and it said it was time, and they were still popping out at the side and clearly full of gas still... The CO2 is definitely "created" by...

    Is ffof too strong?

Man, it's funny you mention that. A dear friend of mine was kind enough to give me 3 10 packs for my birthday last month. He hooked up some Eisbar, some Alphadawg, and some limited edition 2009 Cheddarwurst seeds he says have a pheno that tastes like cheesecake. All from Alphakronik seeds...

Humble Servant's 1000W One Plant Fully Organic Orange Crush SCROG Journal

Very groovy!! I LOVE trainwreck but I haven't grown it out yet! I'll get some pictures up of my veg room at some point in the next couple days. I only have the one 1000w for flowering, and it's currently on day 22 of the Crush SCROG, but next door I have a couple of TGA Flav's growing nice...

    Is ffof too strong?

We run a similar set up, apparently! Those clone machines are pretty neat to look at, but I have 100% success with clones using a $5 product. :) Life's little successes, yeah?

    Soil question

Hey, noxiously, it seems a lot of people have had this question lately! I've been sharing my recipe with people. I hope it helps you! Here's what I posted a little earlier: So as far as mixing the soil goes, I like to layer my soil so that the roots work their way into the hotter soil. So...

    Is ffof too strong?

I also totally agree with ohmy's comment. The Jiffy Pellets are AWESOME for starting seedlings and for cloning. You can get a pack of 36 right now, with a neat little humidity dome for like $5 at WalMart.
