im not sure of your wiring skills but their is always a risk involved i would recommend you keep it on for a long period while your home and keep an eye on it to see what happens

im working in a closet and using a 70 watt hps and 9 23 watt cfls my area is 5'L x 2'W 8'H i can grow 8-10 plants easy are you thinking about oder control ?
