    2016 Woot farms.

Remember when quad was such a big deal? Hell, I'm old enough to remember when stereo was a big selling point. I have many of the new systems, but I still have a room full of old receivers, amps, pre amps, tuners, turntables, CD players, tape players. And speakers. Lots and lots of speakers.

I have some orange ones that look like that. Not sure of names. My labels got washed off for me.

    getaway seeder/outdoor/greenhouse grow 2016

My eyes are getting red just looking at that. I picked up a bad cough and am trying not to smoke {too much}. I baked some herb into a banana nut bread mix this week and have been having a slice of that everyday. Not the same as smoking, but it keeps you high soooooo long.

    New hobby for old head.

From what they have been though, yours are looking good. I've had a few cash from the storm. Plus still finding lots of males. Last year I had almost none, so I used hot germination to increase number of males. It works.

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

I'll know for sure in a few days. Maybe the hurricane breaking it in half slowed it down, but I expected to see shoots coming up by now. Or maybe I was just there a day or two ago, and it just seems longer. My T-Pig would put me with 30 something girls. Only about 10-15 of them are what you...

Do you dry any the old fashioned way? With a needle and knotted thread. I have a few strings of them still, so I don't need to dry more, but I love the way they look hanging around.

    Your peppers please!

The deer got in my garden and cleaned out my mild peppers. Left the hots alone though. I picked a bunch for my Mamma to make hot sauce with.

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

This is the first time I have had to deal with very much bud rot. I clipped a couple of extra buds above and below the bad ones on the BST2 {#2FP}, just to be on the safe side. Almost dry, so I sat it on my food scale this morning. 7 grams counting seeds. Some of which appear to be mature. I'm...

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

I went through my pollen collection this morning and decided to hit the BP with some CP1 {#2BP}. I put a little in a paper bag and took it with me in the truck. But on the way I got to thinking about the 88 that was just showing male earlier in the week. It was a young plant, so not too big, but...

Bushcrafting, the weed addition: Bugout patch

The camp tomatoes need caging soon. Limitless water will make things grow.

Bushcrafting, the weed addition: Bugout patch

It was a young buck. Horns only 9-12 inches long, still in velvet. His nose was still moist so he was really fresh. If I had been hungry, I would have cut off a hind leg. But there was a big assed tick right on his face. That was not making my hungry.

    Outdoor SIPs

Almost across the board, my younger plants look much better than the older ones. The couple of exceptions is the ones that get regular food and water. The Darwin Dope patches are fading badly. They look worse than your "bad" looking one. I was at one of my patches this morning at 1000. The sun...

    New England outdoors 2016

I saw a deer near my patch a couple of days ago. But he didn't run off. Not sure what killed him. I didn't turn him over to look for a wound. He was fresh then. I hope the buzzards find him before it's time for me to go back.

    nuggs 2016

It might be the seeds are just duds. But I stopped using paper towels years ago. Just put them pointy end down in some good potting soil. {not too hot} Add 1/4-1/2 inch potting soil and soak really good. Should be above ground in 3 or 4 days. The less you handle the better the root will do..

    Open Show n' Tell 2016

I sprayed my BST1 with 1 part lemon juice, 2 parts water yesterday. She had a small spot on her. That should taste better than the BST2 that got sprayed with Neem last week. She had worms, then some bud rot. I cut out the buds on each side of the bad ones. Smoked a bowl of it this morning. Nice...

    Bict 16/17. Straya m8 2.0

I plant all my seeds in soil now. Just put them pointy end down in a mild soft potting soil and cover with 1/4-1/2 inch of soil. I just soak it then with the water hose, then re-wet it every other day or so. I've had nothing lower than 88% {7 out of 8} germination. If going into gallon pots, I...

    MaiNiaK Mountain 2016 Outdoor Expedition

We don't have much real hardwood timber around here. It's mostly planted pines. But lots of wood land is selling. A 40 that was in the heart of my grow opp sold this year. Old family land, so it hurt both ways. Losing it out of the family, plus it making my other patches much harder to get to...
