I plan on having 4 AK48 + the two plants i have in there, i dont think im gonna scrog though, deff topping though.... Im gonna have 4blue and 4 red lights in there.... As for the HPS its really too expensive, when you factor in vent costs for fans and electricity, unless you have a good deal...

I just ordered a 4ftx2ftx5ft tent and was wondering if you think that this will be enough for veg/bloom... I cant go MH/HPS cause of head and LED just isnt good enough for the price yet... any ideas? Link to the Ebay auction

Hey guys, i had a big problem with the old res and alge/bactiria growth and all kinds of nastyness..... long story short alot of rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide killed all the badies, and the plants seem extatic in thier new clean habitat !:leaf:

More and more research and more and more flip floping of ideas on my part.... Anyone ever use these? They are reasonably priced and the theoretical 40k lument output would almost match a 400 watt HPS (about 45-55k)! Depending on how many watts are used i think this may be perfect! the dimensions...

Yeah man i get what your saying, and i am worried about the quality. I like these because they seem to be a decent price and pretty comparable price wise when you factor in the extra ventilation needed with the HIDs. Also im gonna have to constantly adjust the cfls anyway... any coments?

Yeah im thinking that those will be enough supplemented by 4 27 watt and one 64 watt cfl...im gonna go ahead and order these tommorow unless i hear some horror stories lol
