Drying speed irrelevant to taste, "harshness" and potency [discussion]

Thanks, yeah there's definitely a lot of foxtailing going on. I think it's to do with the average lights-on temperature in the tent (28C) + the pictures I regularly took during the dark cycle which probably interrupted normal growth. Guess I'll leave some aside to cure for a couple months...

Drying speed irrelevant to taste, "harshness" and potency [discussion]

I'd recommend investing in a thermo/hygrometer to monitor your drying environment. The guidelines of slow drying usually fall around 20-22C at 40-60% relative humidity. Within those ranges it apparently takes 1-2 weeks. @bluntmassa: yes, I'm a first time grower. I'm not a first time smoker but...

Drying speed irrelevant to taste, "harshness" and potency [discussion]

I get what you're saying dvs, I haven't had any experience with long cured weed or bongs so I am speaking partly out of ignorance to the more refined methods of smoking lol. Not sure what to gather from your comment, copreal D: edit: if you mean to compress the point of this thread then yes I'd...

Do you think ill be ready on the 17th?

Read closely, peeps. Autoflowering strains will begin to flower quickly regardless of the light cycle provided. Your buds look very ripe. I'd expect any auto to harvest within 2-3 months from seed.

Drying speed irrelevant to taste, "harshness" and potency [discussion]

Thought I'd try and create some dialogue on this. Does the slow drying and curing process provide any significant improvements to the psychoactive potency of cannabis? There are also other things I've never understood, namely taste and "harshness" of quick-dried vs. slow-dried weed. I notice...

hey guys is this ready to harvest you think???

Dude you really need to make sure your pictures are focused properly when you ask for ETAs for optimal harvest time, I can't see the buds in detail. As far as determining optimum ripeness, I find the condition of the trichomes a much less consistent indicator than simply looking at the buds and...

How to hermaphrodite a ruderalis female plant?

Hi guys I'd like to hermie a female auto so I can produce my own feminized seeds (yay!) I understand autos don't stress out much in terms of light exposure. How can I go about effectively stressing one to the point of self reproducing? Thanks!

    Nutrient feeding for hydro/aero/bubble systems...

I'm considering upgrading to one of these systems and I'm frustrated by how little google answers my questions on nutrient levels and how to top-up or replace the water/nutrient solution. If you were at week 1 of 12/12 and added 800-900 ppm of your nutrients to the water for the first time, how...

30-hour light failure; consequent plant damage?

So yesterday my ballast decided not to work, causing me to worry about the potential shock it may inflict on my plants. Instead of 12 hours of darkness the plants received 30 and now I have to figure out how best to return to 12/12. Does anybody know the significance this has on flowering...

    How Many Plants Could I Get In A 2 x2.4 x 2m Grow Tent?

I always regress to the 1g/watt standard of grow efficiency to get an idea of what an X hundred watt MH/HPS will yield. Given the tent dimensions you're likely better off with 2 x 600w, but a single 1000w isn't bad. Here are my wildly subjective and unreliable (however realistic) estimates...

How much foliage below the canopy should I remove? Pics included

Well it's enough to convince me from messing with the plant now lol. I'll look up some info on it but in the end I think I've pruned enough Thanks again!

How much foliage below the canopy should I remove? Pics included

Thanks a bunch. I'll keep it as is, but do you think cutting off all of the less developed branches would redirect more growth to the big ones where the magic happens? That's all I was really speculating

How much foliage below the canopy should I remove? Pics included

Hi ppl, it's one plant under a 600w HPS 120 x 70cm area (ish) 7 weeks veg, 31 days into flowering so far Canopy's somewhere between 1.4m and 1.6m tall now I've already pulled off a lot of lower branches and leaves but should I remove more? May have to look close to see the lower foliage...

ScrOG training: how am I doing?

Thanks. Do you mean I should keep moving the tops through further holes so more main tops develop from the nodes? I plan on switching 2 weeks from now, or when ~60% of the screen is filled.

ScrOG training: how am I doing?

Yesterday: Today: 32 days from seed. Hand watering 3-4L/day atm. I've highlighted the current main tops. Since the above picture was taken, I've tucked some fan leaves under the screen so all of the tops can grow up and longer. Am I doing it correctly? Any feedback's appreciated...

    1.2x1.2x1.8. 600w. 4x Speed Devil 2. SCRoG.

I've got a tent the same size, and soon to start a 600w scrog with a 5cm2 mesh. I have some suggestions you might consider, but if you don't have the resources then I'd say your initial approach seems completely fine. My setup is entirely based on NBG's 400w Scrog thread over at ICMAG.com (it's...

Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow -- feeding instructions?

Hi guys, Advanced Nutrition are seemingly straightforward in their instruction for Sensi Grow A & B (use 4ml/L of water), yet after reading multiple threads where people have no idea what they're doing, it became somewhat unclear to me... I have some large plants in their vegetative stage. If...

How fast can u run a mile ?

6 minutes would be a challenge. The mile is probably the longest distance I'd want to be able to run at a very fast pace (4-5 minutes). Gebrselassie can run a marathon at an average pace of 4:45 per mile... lol wut
