Ok so my plants are about a week old and two of them have small brown spots on the tip of the leaves...what could this be? Over watering? Overheating? The other question is when do I start using fertalizer? And i dont understand the PPM system....

First off, you only want female plants because only female plants produce the actually buds. The second reason you want to get rid of the male is because they will polinate the female plants, and they will produce seeds, aka the bull will be some shitty ass mids, no good. As for the drying...

Im currently using two 145 watt floresents to start off my plants...once they get big im gonna switch to the HPS. Those lights should be good for a bit but like just when you can try to switch the the HPS or youll get little stringy ass buds...

unfortuantly thier not cheap......but better to do it right.....other wise its not gonna be worth your time

Hey dude, what wattage....and floresents are good for vegging, but youll want to get either some HPS or Metal Halide lights for when they get bigger. 400, 600 or 1000 watt is good, 1000 best of course. If you really want to get 400 or 600 watts, be sure to get two and get some ventilation...

hmmm....street lights eh? I always thought flood lights where HPS then i looked em up online and i was like boo these are like incadesent. Im just gonna go to home depot and buy like an extension cord ands teal 2 like 400 watt or 600 watt HPS and i should be good..pictures soon

If you clone the plant before it flowers, and it turns out to be male will the clones also be male?

So would you recommend a 18/6 light cycle for vegging or a 24 cycle?

Online in at sites for seeds when it says flowering period 8-10 weeks does it mean time you let veg before flowering? Or total time it takes to grow?

na man I did but my question was like if I put it under 24 hours a day and switched it to 12/12 would it take longer than 16/8 then 12/12, but you answered my question. Btw, the link really did help it answered some of my other questions. Thanks for all the help dude. :bigjoint:

Thanks man, but like if I put my plants under 24 hours of light for like 3 weeks, would I be able to just turn off the lights for 24 hours one night and they flower? Or would I have to keep doing the 16/8 hours to get them to flower asap?
