You have to hold a flame on it the entire hit - if you just put the flame to it and let it stay cherry it isn't hot enough to release the active chemical evidently. I think I also heard that like 10% of people it doesn't effect.

Try to smoke a J - if it stays lit you can jar it. After, what, 3 days, I don't think it will stay lit. I like them to dry for 7 days, but have had dry plants in 5.

I wouldn't worry about the smell, thing is about to die. Go read the CFL forum and get some CFL bulbs. The shop light is a halogen bulb, I think, which doesn't put out much good light at all. Same with what looks like a decorative incandescent there?

Definitely enjoy owning my grinder which is a sharp stone. As far as keif collection, it is just a nice bonus. It would've been wasted if broken up by hand anyway. But as cowell said, it builds up keif pretty slowly. I mainly use my grinder for vaping but also will use it for Js and blunts...
