no need to cut them down mate! Research some topping techniques (Topping, FIM) and some short of training (LST, SuperCropping). That should keep any future grows quite "shorter" but with better yields! I wouldn't do it now though...not while flowering!

There is no problem in chopping buds that look ready and allowing lower buds to continue flowering... Any photos would help to see if it's ready for harvest! Do you have a magnifying glass or some kind of magnifyer to see the colour of the trichomes?

For plants epsom salts can supply two essential chemicals that they need, ie Magnesium and Sulphur in a soluble form absorbable through both the leaves and roots. At the dilution plants need it, it is also friendly to the soil/compost micro flora and stimulates the micro herd. Overdone like...

Magnesium Def is your best bet (about 60% likely) lower leaves turning yellow and pale while veins remain dark green. The only thing is that the tips and edges of the blades should be curling upwards... Are they? if yes add fertilizer with Mg. Nitrogen Def (30% likely). Do you have red stems...

Looks great mate!!! Nice one... I think your estimates are a bit low... Might be closer to 1 ounce! Or so it seems from the picture. You need to add something of known size (i.e: bottle of water) next to the buds to give a better sizable perspective! But anyhow... I'd give it the full 6 weeks...

Summer and Spring sun is excellent for vegging... You might have to add an orange/red celophane sheet to your window to mimic the spectrum of light of the autumn sun when you decide to start flowering (1ft height). It's not 100% the same but i think it would help... Otherwise your buds might not...

Am I wrong to try and explain this rather that answering something for the shake of it? Maybe after reading this he would stop worrying about when to flower and research IF he can flower and how! Yes that he can do... but would the spring/summer sun produce nice, thick, dense buds? Unless it's an autoflower strain... I doubt it!

It looks like it's something genetic and not something you are doing wrong! I'd say grow it and you'll see how it goes!
